in a couple days or at most a week I'll have a base in creative on off-topic. basically, it's there now but unlisted, needs more tweaks, and it's not all that fancy or anything but seems like folks in creative mode need some love so there you go. just to be sure because the limits are a little confusing, this base is on a different world from a different save but in the same system; will this interfere with the base on Distira in normal mode showing up for people?

well they won't show up is the thing, if you have from the same account, a base in normal mode on planet X uploaded, and a base in creative mode on planet X, also uploaded, only the last uploaded of those is visible to players (and they have to be in the right mode), is my understanding. very annoying but what can you do. I just can't remember if that extends to the whole system or just a given planet

Yes each base is wedged around a mineral and gas hotspot: parafinnium and nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphurine, and cobalt dioxite radon (with a bonus oxygen for faster cobalt refining). It's not possible for one base to have all 3 gasses

How does this work?

@proper meadow Wanna DM me your friend code? We can first meet up at the Space Anomaly. From there, once I've TP'ed to our Hub, you can take off in your Starship, and select the system I'm in. Then you can head to the Space Station and do an auto-save there so you'll be able to return to the Hub via the Teleporter if you'd like.

Gunter should've sent those instructions via DM:

Standard procedure:
1: Get @proper meadow to supply their NMS friend code, make sure they have multiplayer and crossplay on, are joinable and ask them to wait in-game in the Anomaly.
2: Add them via friend code (it is not necessary that they add you) and join them in multiplayer.
3: Once in-game and in their group, travel to the Hub system, then let @proper meadow know they should leave the Anomaly and to choose your current system.

if you're cool with posting friend code here, that's fine too. did you get a DM from Gunter btw? there are some instructions in the DM to help with the process. so the person getting the ride's the host and the driver joins them

Standard procedure for Driver:
1: Get ["passenger"] to supply their NMS friend code, make sure they have multiplayer and crossplay on, are joinable and ask them to wait in-game in the Anomaly.
2: Add them via friend code (it is not necessary that they add you) and join them in multiplayer.
3: Once in-game and in their group, travel to the Hub system, then let ["passenger"] know they should leave the Anomaly and to choose your current system.
Note: If you are on the same platform as ["passenger"], adding via NMS friend code may fail or invoke the platform-specific friend system. You may need to fall back to adding via gamertag.

No, as I mentioned, I built mine a while before Endurance, the update conversion made a mess of my build, haven't decided whether I want to redo it - my PS4 doesn't like SRT Cannon builds to begin with, on my freighter compounded the issue. I got it so it'd work for me whenever I wanted to use it, but I was unable to get it to work for other passengers.

my first attempt (from the space station) I got buildings and items and nothing powered. so I reloaded manual save from a save point on the edge of one of the base buildings, now I have all items, no buildings, everything is floating
