they are fairly easy to catch just keep fishing over, and over - just you have to be patient, to my knowledge however they only work once per person, if you already used the effect doing so would not matter a second time. I could duplicate the one i have if i needed but do not always play the game

It seems to be fairly random but rare, unfortunately for you. It is even possible to catch them in the fishing pods but I don't think catching it that way triggers the event

If I'm not mistaken, you can start the expedition from the anomaly, and then once you're done you can take the rewards and stuff back to your normal game. I probably didn't word that correctly and someone more familiar with expeditions could probably fill in any gaps.

That's one option but in the anomaly there's an expedition console. Just to the right and behind the Nexus/big cube thing and to left of the quicksilver vendor.

You can only take a limited amount of stuff into the expedition but it's not a completely new save.

Basically the one on the corvette, gives mini missions for various things, in the specific solar system you are in instead of going halfway across the universe. Not just quicksilver other random loot as well. I forget where you get the blueprint exactly, pretty sure it is the Anomaly .

Nah I’m good on all that. The dream aerial is basically single use and you get the recipe after getting it randomly from a frigate expedition so it’s not something I’m in need of anymore.

As for that ship, I know it’s from last years Halloween expedition which already got its redux so I think my only option is to check the anomaly often.

They’re very good and almost essential once you have a living ship since that’s the only way to get new tech for them like water landing and scan deflector.

I’m not sure if you need a living ship first though and that does take a while if you don’t already have one.

And remember that’s a single use item. For future organic frigates you just need anomaly detectors and only stop if it says whale song which may take a while. And I think only one is in each system.

Btw, I always use the same save and start expedition from anomaly on my normal save. Is that a bad idea?

There are many multiplayer related bugs with this current expedition, mainly one where spacewalking can become impossible due to it. I believe these issues are already fixed in Steam Experimental, and should be fixed soon on all other platforms (hopefully by next week)

Your progress will not "sync up" with your friend in the first place, you are free to continue without them and help them catch up later

Nah, in space station, there's a place you could upgrade your slots or rank of your starship, the cargo pod is for exosuit only

Inventory slots, for either the storage or technology, can be purchased with nanites at the ship salvage/upgrade terminal, in the far back of the space station.

It is highly recommended that you progress through the 'tutorial' section. At least until you reach the anomaly. Grouping up before that can cause issues.
