You can only redeem phase rewards on all saves, not milestone rewards
That transfers if you began the exp inside of your main save
if you did it by making a new save, you can still go purchase something with it and then claim it on all other saves

ah somehow I assumed it was better? safer? to make a new save? but is not as if I got anything I can't get on my main save
If you're salvaging parts, repair won't matter at all. If you're salvaging for units only usable cargo slots matter (and not really that much)
how to you salvage straight for units i only have the option to salvage
You salvage, then sell the scrap you get for units

It's normal for new stations to push out old ones. It's a bug for all of them to disappear upon finishing the main story.

Those are phase rewards, they're unlocked account wide. Note that none of the colossus customizations except those will be unlocked. The rest have to be unlocked via normal gameplay

Revisit those space stations, or use a backup to copy the old space station list to the current save via save editing or smth
I'm guessing any backup would have to have been manually created by me

You can clear any negative race reputation by using a Forged Passport at that race's Space Station

All of them are quite strong, the more important part is adding upgrade modules and supercharging that weapon and it's upgrades
You can buy starship upgrade modules from this NPC aboard any regular space station, each one offers modules at different classes. S-Class ones aren't rare, just expensive
You can install up to three of each type of upgrade module, this limit does not include blueprint technology

You can't "reroll" it ever, it has fixed stats/layout
if you get rid of it, you can't get another one on that save
there was a bug shortly after Omega releasing where it's stats/layout were random, but this was patched somewhat quickly

does anyone have any clue how to fix this camera bug? i'm pretty sure its tied to corvettes tbh, but haven't nailed the exact cause. whenever I save and load, it fixes, but comes back pretty quickly. sometimes it seems to go away for a little while after a warp.
(happens in 3rd and first person, doesn't happen in pilot view, still moves the camera while in certain UI elements, but not my cursor.
*happens in both directions, it changes sometimes.
Have I unlocked everything yet? Are there reasons to keep doing waste dump things after all of the unlocks?

If by "camera bug" you mean the fact that it turns without you moving your mouse or moving your controller stick, then this is a known problem after one of the latest patches. It appears to be happening when you leave the cockpit seat of your corvette and it wasn't 100% level and at a standstill when you did. You can try re-seating yourself in the cockpit seat and waiting a few seconds before you exit, but apparently that doesn't seem to guarantee a fix either.
As this is a bug, the best we can do is wait for HG to fix it.

All us console players were dreading "stick drift" as a problem, but then it turns out people with mouse/keyboard is having the same issues on PC, so thankfully it isn't a hardware issue.

i've had the issue for quite a while (pc) but it's just getting a bit painful now.

camera keeps moving without the cursor moving at all even while i'm in the inventory
when i was looking for people reporting the bug earlier, i honestly didn't even think to search for stick drift because I forgot people play this on console.

This is caused by dismounting a corvette while it is still rotating, it was introduced in 6.20
Either always wait for the corvette to stop rotating before dismounting, or don't use a corvette
And even hovering it still moves ever so slightly.
how many scrap do i have to collect for this quest? whenever i mine one "cluster" the quest doesnt get completed and instead my visor just points to another one
anyone else experiencing that when someone comes on your corvette they cannot access the refiner or sit in chairs or use the medical device? Settings are to group and friends and still they cannot use

unfortunately the "rotating" part is triggered by us leaving the cockpit seat, so there is no way to actually leave the cockpit seat with the ship not rotating, as that would mean you were able to perfectly, and I mean perfectly, level it out before exiting the cockpit seat.
For me, it's caused by exiting the corvette entirely, not by exiting the seat
I exit the seat while it is rotating constantly, and it does not begin occurring
but when I beam or jump off while it is rotating, the rotation remains imparted to my character and never stops
I have done my fair share of scrounging for corvette parts, which had me scan from inside the corvette, and I know for a fact that it happens even if you don't actually leave the corvette.
are you referring to the issue where the corvette rotating is doubly imparted onto the player?
(player rotates the direction that the corvette rotates x2)
because that is present when the corvette is rotating at all, while inside of it
so why does it happen in space stations? when the ship has stopped rotating and you wait a while, I still experience it
I think that is the correct situation here, we don't know. I have exited the cockpit while the ship is 90 degrees sideways and pointing straight up, and I can watch all the icons of nearby scanned stuff taking a tumble while the ship orients itself, and ... everything is stable. On the other hand I can land in a space station, wait until the ship has rotated itself with the rear end towards the walkways, ... and then exit the cockpit seat and be rotating madly.

Yeah it seems to occur when it wants to, ive had it be stable and then trigger for no apparent reason. (Entering and exiting a hovering corvette)
At least it seemed to go away for a bit after warping to another system

I just got it by killing a sentinel
their stats are chaotic, similar to illegal (X) upgrades
the best stat on them is shield strength, which can get as high as defense systems upgrade modules' highest numbers
I should probably sell it, it's almost 500 nanites
but yeah, they are usually better sold for nanites early on
I don't like upgrades with a large range of stats
they're definitely within that class of "you'd need to dismantle a bunch of bad copies of these to find ones that are worth it"

only t3 eco tier will produce all trade commodity items including the highest value ones; other than that, if you're doing trade routes or trade surge, yes, focus on S/B %s (S up to 80%, B up to -30%)

Ever since the biomes update, some planets stay lit all one color. In the case of the one I'm on, either red or dark red. Is there any way to tone down this effect? Even in daytime it''s difficult to see. Is there a brightness/gamma control hidden somewhere?

i have a stack of Exosuit Expansion Units in my exosuit inventory. I go to the Exosuit Upgrade station at a space station or the anomaly, and go to Upgrade Exosuit, and it wants to charge me 200k units. I thought this would be free given I have the expansion units on hand. Am I missing something?

shader cache is basically useful for the game not have to compile lots of shaders while playing which often results in stuttering- they're already precompiled and downloaded by steam, then used by the game

If nothing else works, you should be able to travel through a Black Hole and select "restart mission using nearby structures" in the log

having troubles with this quest, ive killed four walkers and they just keep dropping hard frame bodies and not pristine brains
i read online the walker is supposed to break down into pieces and then i interact with the head piece to get the brain, but its not doing that, its just blowing up and dying and dropping a hardframe body

Man I just landed on a toxic superstorm having decaying nuclear moon in a purple star system, and the game considers it to be a higher paradise quotient than a perfect weather, earthlike, high oxygen atmosphere planet that it previously considered to be the highest paradise quotient; does anyone know how it calculates these things? lmao
It's just random, with a strong tendency for lush worlds without storms to have higher and stormy non-lush worlds to be considered lower. The "hostility quotient" is just the paradise quotient but inverted I believe
it has no true meaning, it can mark very ugly and less habitable/safe worlds as "higher paradise quotient" than super perfect ones

All companions lay eggs that can be given to other players, though the mechanical expedition companions have had a bug where their eggs couldn't be collected. I'm not sure if this has been fixed yet

is there any way to duplicate the photonix core without using a save editor? i don't see any other way of getting 2k manuverability on all my main ships
If you have the Starborn Runner unlocked, you could claim it on the expedition side of your main save, then copy it back to your main save and scrap it endlessly
Alternatively, you could copy your ship with the photonix core to the expedition, then place it into the archive on your main save to be able to claim back endless copies of that ship with

if you go into an expedition and get a copy of your ship for the nanite cost. once you return from the expedition you can copy your copy then remove whatever mods you want

hi everyone? I've taken a mission that required to collect dung samples, 5 systems and 30 planets later I've finally found "normal" animals that I can feed, however, ~100 pellets later not a single sample. am I doing something wrong? are there specific animals I need to track down or something?
Adding to this, does it even need to be specifically from animals, and how would I trigger the quest progression by taking a stack of faceum from storage into inventory?
that's crazy I've spent over 30 minutes feeding these animals and not a single sample, either there's a bug or it should clearly say that not every animal actually does produce one

Note that normally, refeeding a creature resets their "pooping" timer so you have to feed them once and then wait a bit

Game is soo huge that chances for that are small but there are some systems with more traffic. Like community systems or weekend mission systems
You can also use a portal to reach planets designated by communities as places where they hang out of course

- dissmantle the ship at space station
2h of farming is like 400-500mln units and 3-4k nanites. you can also can find a nice ship on top of it
You can also refine your pugneum + atlantideum into runaway mould, which refines into nanites

You can also use an echo locator to find a harmonic camp, place a save beacon or base computer there, then repeatedly ping for dissonance spikes from that camp and repair the interceptors there
But your method also gets you a lot more loot from fighting sentinels
yeah, i forgot to add that after some time you get several echo locator to farm a nice sentinel weapon later. in general this strat is the most sattisfying for me as a new guy as the biggest issue at the beggining is a nice ship and weapons

depends on the tech you have
if you have just the platform you can summon it anywhere on the same planet the platform is. If you have freighter exocraft teleportation room (or something like that) you can summon it anywhere inthe system that your freighter is,. Then there is an uclockable tehch an the space anomanolky trhat allows you to summon it anywhere regardless the condition

You can fight 5 waves of sentinels to get one to appear. It's the giant one like a Star Wars walker, not the mech frame that looks like the minotaur.

another question, i want to buy wiring loom, since i don't have its blueprint to craft it myself sadly. in the terminal it cost 89$, and it says that the demand is +27% is that cheap or expensive?
wiring looms dont saddly have blueprints, they can be pretty expensive. If i remember corretly +27% its cost 27% more than normally. If you have the ability to jump between start system you could try to find one cheaper or just buy that one. Its hard to say if its expensive or not, cause i dont know your game proggres or wealth status

yeah the game has an "adjacency bonuses
ah okay, so upgrades must always be around its module for bonuses, got it
they dont have to but they do give some nice bonuses being near eachother
can i read those bonuses? the only thing appear is that colored outline
like the same type of upgrades need to be close tho eachother. Like the jetpack, you can have one upgrade touching the core jetpack tech and then another upgrade touching the upgrademodule and they still give the bonuses
they dont all have to be near the "core" tehc but must be similiar type to get the bonuses

You should be able to use the Harmonic Brain to find a monolith.

If you track the sentinel ship repair quest, it will lead you to the shards, the mirror and then the monolith
weird, i got hte mirror and shards, but no monolith
You can also use an exocraft radar to track alien structures, that will lead you to a monolith

If no Exocraft just yet, can also buy dedicated charts from Navigation agent in any station, I use those a lot.
Also note that if you're super early in the story, drop pods are not available to you because you do not know the recipe for one of the required items

It allows you to access your freighters main inventory from anywhere, and access to storage units built on your freighter if it's in the same system. Don't believe you can sell directly from either, but you can build using storage room contents with the matter beam

sorry, i'm asking if you're asking about the freighter scanner room or the freighter's eco+conflict scanner (aka interstellar scanner tech)
scanner room doesn't come unlocked by default, if your freighter base didnt come with one then you'll have to unlock it with salvaged frigate modules in freighter upgrade terminal on the bridge
uhh idk i just want a way to scan stuff in my frighter because it has this upgrade
interstellar scanner is a 2-in-1; it's both an economy scanner and a conflict scanner for freighter's galaxy map, same as a ship's eco and conflict scanners, except bundled in a single tech

if you're looking for corvette parts or industrial waste, those are the planets to head to - to make sure it's a valid planet to do waste processing on, just pop colossus and check for plants
because of a bug, not all planets that have waste have processing plants

well, not all planets will have the same density, not all areas of the same planet have the same density probably either - you may just have found yourself in an area that has few. just goto a diff planet, and dont worry too much about it

Some stuff are missing when you do that, fossils are surely one of them (least on xbox) .. I had to be on foot and use the visor instead as it never popped up on Colossus

AFAIK feeding random creatures is still bugged, so either refine mordite or buy from landing ships (rng) at trading outposts

so after getting the staff how do you get better ones or do you keep farming the autophages to get different ones
Do missions for the autophage, buy staff parts with void motes
elaborating:
- staff parts used are consumed on assembly, no more bps
- use poly core to find more autophage camps
- talk to autophage npcs at camps, "offer assistance" to run missions for them, to get void motes
- interact with autophage synth terminal at autophage camp, to see what offerings it has
- you may need to hop through multiple camps both to farm void motes and find the terminals with the parts you want

Being in a group is likely impacting your sentinel wanted level as well

They're not wired together properly then. You need 2 panels + 1 battery for every 50 kP of continuous power your base needs

Seems fine to me, what is the issue? You have 35 solar panels generating way more power than your base needs. Could go down to 10 + 5 batteries and be fine
With all this the machines are running during daylight, but they stop at night.
Is there a Tutorial for how solar and batt work in detail ?
Each panel generates 50 kP, which is why to power something that needs 50 kP you need 2 solar panels (100 kP) + 1 battery. That will provide all the power to your base + charge the batteries so you have all the power you need at night
10 panels (500 kP) + 5 batteries will more than handle the 220 kP your base needs for all hours, but it may take 2 full day/night cycles for everything to charge properly

I just noticed Generator Status: Insufficient Light....
Early morning and late afternoon the sun isn't full strength, and only generates 25 kP. Also happens if you happen to build in the eternal twilight zone

I have 30 Solar panels and 20 Batteries. and the 4 machines stop at night. I'm not grasping why yet. Then i connect 4 Generators and they run through the night.

i think i messed up, i tried modifying the interior of my corvette while it was using the pulse drive and the object i tried to place on a wall is not there but did make the placing sound.
now when i go to modify the corvette it says "all modules must be connected" even if there is just a habitation module and a landing gear.
i don't know how to fix this, i am pretty sure it's somewhere in or around the space station but obviously i cannot reach the object via the build cam.
is there some way i can fix this issue?

Even when you're playing alone it's a good idea to build above or with the terrain, not directly on it so it alters the ground
I have pretty good luck with flattening the ground first then building upon the surface.

electrical disturbance - either in a extreme storm through lightning strikes or through localised weather event (no storm needed) - they can def hurt a bit. it will keep spawning them for a time, chasing you if you're close, respawning them closer to you so stay on your toes, but it wont be like that permanently.

short range teleporters dont work on corvettes, afaik no way to make them work (i guess some mod might make them work on pc?)
Regular teleporter, not short range. I’ve seen ships posted with working teleporters. Just not sure if you have to use a mod
yeah, not possible to build teleporter on corvette in vanilla. maybe through some glitch building technique like cachepin glitch but idk. personally i'd advise caution using these things that havent been planned in for support from the devs. you could possibly use hellogames cloud disabling auto uploads as another backup solution

if using anomaly teleporter, probably just means that the owner of the base left the instance you were both in; if not using anomaly teleporter, probably just seeing ghost bases. save+reload to refresh teleporter list
how many freighter technology slots are considered like, a good minimum to have? I just found an S class capital ship but it only has 14 technology slots. i have 6 expansion modules, debating whether to put them to tech slots or cargo slots

we can upgrade freighter tech inventory size, any s-class freighter can be upgraded to 60 tech - kinda depends on what you'll use it for

so im tryna connect two bases (one has the electromagnetic power generators and the other is my base) and when i try to use the wiring to fuel my batteries from the other base, i place the wire and then it becomes red, and it doesnt charge up anything. how do i connect these two?

Installing more than 3 upgrades of the same type will always lead to it being overloaded. The fourth thing was a Blueprint Technology, which don't count towards the upgrade module limit
Not really. Know that you can trade unwanted modules for ones that you want at the Corvette Workshop under Trade Advanced Modules, and also that you can store a functionally endless amount of corvette modules in the Corvette Workshop Cache
