We know the ARG has been in motion since at least late March. I find it very strange that the timer for the next post from the ARG, which is about every two days, is set to trigger again the same day as a game update we didn't know was coming until a few days ago

The scale of it is also difficult for me to believe one person could manage themselves. Multiple websites, active monitoring of multiple social media sites, a preemptive Twitch channel, the fact that all the media presented in the ARG is genuine artwork and not AI generated, indicating whoever it is has some talent and isn't bothering with cutting corners

Fishing and the Colossus update each brought us plenty of awesome stuff...5 player helmets, 15 combined player titles, lots of Collosus parts and some paints, plus that awesome new outfit from the Colossus expedition. Colossus was a short update too...got it and the expedition done in 3 days so it's not even like we had to deal with the janky flatbed for that long either. Fishing update took like a week to complete so not too bad. And the mech parts were just a community mission not an update, the update was an expedition but don't remember which one...either way there was more there.

The thing about the leak that stinks most to me is the introduction of a new race. They're in the middle of a major plot arc right now with the autophage, it's just sloppier writing than we've seen from HG in the past. I think they probably will add humanoid combatants and enable NPCs to roam planet surfaces at some point though, they'll likely need to have that capability for LNF

I maintain its one of these two things: planetary dungeons 'hives' to replace the POIs, or Hive as in void mother and the void related. Maybe interdictions into the realm of glass, that will set the stage for her breaking through to us in the summer update

Streamers want content that retains viewership

They don't care about new content, they care about content that holds someones attention

I was thinking more like the dungeon is a crashed freighter...and you can get it space worthy again...a giant titan of steel rising from the dirt would be epic. And probably a long project to fix up and get properly in shape. Or maybe the end reward is you find a new ship type in the hangar.
