I don't like the 400 setting in the game. It oversaturates everything. Stick with 1000. I find that's a good balance.

Curious, what monitor do you have? I've never had HDR monitor so...it may be my next thing to upgrade even though my 34" wide is fun with nms but I know HDR will add better colors and such.
