I think it's particularly good if you're a creative type, since corvette building and base building are some of the more in depth aspects of the game

but overall it's sort of a "find your own fun" kind of game where you mostly set objectives for yourself

Ships I'm pretty sure you always could...I mostly know because they love to jump in my line of fire and then call the sentinels on me because a stray shot graze their shields. I think you might mean freighters? Those became destructible pretty late, but you could always loot their pods so not that much of a change. Not that I have a reason to attack freighters other than pirate dreadnaughts.

Well the twilight area isn't actually any kind of pole you get from coordinates as far as I know. You have to track the movement of the stars and sun(s) in the skybox, but you can cheat by using photo mode to change the time of day to quickly check where you should be going

Found a paradise moon that is right next to a physically blue gas giant. While in the discoveries tab, it's green when you look at it from both planet and space, it's blue. For the record, they have not ever removed any planets since the release of the game, only significantly changed existing ones into being unrecognizable (which the last times that happened was in 2018's NEXT update and 2024's Worlds update)

Sentinel multi balanced all around with high damage, base game one are okayish, atlantid has insane mining boost, staff damage focused, alien is balanced but not good

note that if you ever fnd a A or S class tool in a box, mark that location with a save beacon. Then go to each of the planets in turn, save on that planet and reload. then come back to the box. The class will be the same, but the tool will cycle to the next style over in the system's listing.

Then play the game.
Eventually, before it really matters to you, the game will hand you a s class one.

Depends, if you want an S and nothing else, then Outlaw has a higher chance. If you consider settling for an A, then 3 Star will get you one much faster, but still has some chance for an S.
