Actually... if you go into photo mode, and check the bottom left of screen, your exact planet location is written in those 12 pictoglyphs... it would take 5 minutes to get loaded and drop in on you... so be careful sharing those, and make sure you turn off PVP damage in your menus before you meet anyone.

no. You can't rob anyone in NMS it's nto that kind of game

if you die, your shit gets tossed in a grave marker, and you get a chance to run back and grab it - as long as you dont die again on your way. but noone can loot your ship or storage or anything else. They can pick plants on your base, and suck the minerals out of your minign devices, but neither of those thigns is a big deal.

in fact, most people set up farms with the intention for others to grab some of the plants/mining.

There are people who like to shoot at other (unprepared) players just to kill them and cause frustration... or build "trap bases".. but every game ahs trolls.

NMS has fewer than most, but it's always good to turn off pvp damage before you run into them

Know that there's no beneficial reason to do that at the very least (no nanite reward unlike scanning all fauna species), and the count has been wrong before

The small ones in the rough hill/mountain terrain are easy to overlook, as are some in tall grass, and cave terrain. The underwater minerals can be overlooked as well, and in fact the Abyssal Horrors spawn on a scannable mineral base that is unique, I have found.

Nothing? You shouldn't even have that tech, it's an old expedition tech that revolved around a unique feature where over time a stat called "boundary failure" would increase and more and stronger enemies would attack...but that's not a thing in the game now and those enemies aren't even used in the game right now.

Ignore that "build", the guy making those layouts leaves all sorts of old expedition tech in there. If you did the expedition you still have it but it doesn't do anything anymore other than waste a tech slot. If you want to keep it package it up if you can and put it in an inventory somewhere. You don't gain anything from it as far as I am aware.

The rechargeable tech...I don't know exactly but it's solid enough. You want all those anyway because there's room for them in 60 tech slots, they make life easier in extreme storms, and they give enough of a bonus to where you rarely have to power them when not in a storm.

Too much oxygen and carbon. I keep at most a couple of stacks in my exosuit. If I ever need more than I use I have that stuff on tap at automated bases...doesn't take long to refine a stack of 10k though I almost never do. Typically I get more oxygen than I casually use from killing hostile plants on some daily QS missions. And for industrial use like mass crafting stasis devices I only take it out of storage silos when I need to use it.

Same thing for chromatic metal. I keep one stack of chromatic metal and one stack of Indium...and I can refine them together to multiply both...with one stack of each you have infinite of both.

Because multiplayer isn't much of a thing in NMS beyond hanging out, and you can kick whoever you want from your party or you can turn off PvP or even multiplayer entirely. And there's nothing competitive there, no reasons or incentives to try to annoy or grief other players. Plus the game is infinitely better with multiplayer off all the time.
