You can buy them from pilots in space stations. You can make a custom one with the corvette system. You can find a sentinel ship to salvage or even a normal ship to salvage but it's a lot of work to repair them

the quickest way to disable the dreadnought is to just disable the afterburner engines and then shoot all of the antifreighter cannons. no need for anything else

I found it. It's stored as a cube but transposed onto a sphere. So - I was mistaken, to a degree at least. The data is a cube, it seems.

Spherical worlds are anathema to modern programming. Most of the tricks of the trade involve the assumption of a perfectly flat space. So KcKendrick and his team had to get creative. And the solution, just as Murray had first told me, was indeed “maths.”

What McKendrick devised was a system whereby surface data could be stored in a mathematical cube. In-game, that data was then transposed onto a sphere. Mathematical algorithms were curated and tweaked to generate a kind of noise that would simulate height, giving the impression of a natural planetary surface.

they can vary widely. these planets are relatively common, so find the one that you truly like, make sure the weather is nice, sentinel presence is low (if you prefer) and the flora/fauna/lighting is all good to your preference

I also have a similar move, it's in mechanical class, does about 350-550 damage, and then buff enemy combat effectiveness by 30%. Usually it does oneshot against counter element but I'll be in big trouble if it fails lol.

i started with a small administration home esque building

just to add a house to the settlement

then i added a power station (left screenshot has the administration house, right has the powerplant)

bujt at about this point my building started to escalate to bigger buildings

so first big building was this apartment block

this was kind of like the "theme" building going forwards (aka the theme was going to be like more industrila city esque vibe)

I went to a dissonant system and found a dissonant planet, even though I have a C-tier corvette I fought a ton of corrupted sentinels, and I came here because you can apparently get the strongest multi tool in the game extremely easily, but I can't find a harmonic camp anywhere

find a mining drill, check if it has an echo locator, mine the drill for it and use the locator to find a harmonic camp

I just keep mine at 75 cuz my monitor's 75 Hertz lol So anymore it's kind of useless anyway so if I can keep the heat away from my CPU cuz my GPU ain't the issue it's my CPU it's a little old but water I just turned it down to one below ultra cuz for some reason if I go to water planet on ultra holy heck my frame rates will go down so fast I'll probably be at 25 I'll be lucky to hit 30 and if I do hit 30 I might have a little stutter eventually it levels out for a while until the memory leak starts happening then it starts lagging again but I usually get at least two three hours if not more before that happens

Word I'll have to go to some bigger towns cuz most of the time towns I'm usually pretty good without lagging too much unless multiplayers on, for some reason I can easily handle as long as there's not water around almost 20K parts just smoothly but if I turn on multiplayer or if I go to my base with just AK parts and water I'll drop
