Corvette can do a bit more than that. It can't be a full base and I wouldn't try to make it a refinery center...those are better set up at a planetary base or on your freighter. But a few planters to grow one of each plant along with a food processor is nice to have. To be able to do at least some basic cooking. The 10 storage containers are also a must have...nice to have access to all storage without having to call my freighter. A MT rack so I can have access to my MT storage is also nice. And then some crate and barrel fabricators for some easy access to racial relics and a bit of nav data on the go too. I have massive stacks of barrel and crate fabricators at a base and on my freighter but just a few on the go in my corvette are also nice to have. Beyond that one refiner and the mission board are enough.

Exocrat scanners are limited. If you need to focus in on hunting for a specific location type the exocraft often don't cut it.

I always try to have access to as many resources as possible to be as prepared as possible for anything HG might add.

The buffs are multiplicative...with a proper MT setup boosted by nutrient ingestor you can make up to 40 million units from one single rare creature scan. Or mine vastly more minerals, etc. These are NOT small buffs...they are enormous buffs.

For 40 mil you'd need perfect +11,000% to fauna scans modules or very close to it. It's a theoretical max. I make only 38 mil myself but I did the math and I think 40 mil is the absolute max you could do.

I don't think I've really changed pets in years. I never kept all pet slots full...actually I still have most of the pets I had prior to Xeno Arena. And the ones I no longer have I replaced for SSS ones that look very similar.

3 pets won't two shot most things in the Arena...there are 8 pet types and each one is strong against two types and weak against two types. I have a team of 3 that so far can beat most combinations but it's not invulnerable. I think 16 SSS battle pets is a good place to be...2 of each type. Once leveled to level 30 and their moves are refined a bit two of any type can handle 3 they are strong against. But with a limit of 30 pets you could go up to 3 of each type...though you'll spend 24 pet slots only on Arena fighters.

I've been doing everything legit. Only shortcut I took was I used NMSCE discoveries to put together a lineup of 16 SSS pets. I didn't like doing that but pets need to be bred, gene edited, and then leveled up. And with seasonal content coming to the Arena I can't spend months just looking for pets. I needed to put something together relatively fast...as in, in less than two months fast.

Most system champions will have pets with well over 3000 hp at level 30 and same for Oceanus' daily fights too.

Also some low-level pets have an attack that if you just kill the pet instantly and increases your attack almost 200% for 6 turns then you just use two other people with a decent attack and kill everybody in one head lol

I'm sure it's better than what I tend to build, as I started on the Switch 1 version I tend to make bases as basic as possible - larger bases caused my frame rate to drop like giraffe babies

you can build about 50m from where your feet are, and you can stand about 50m from something you've previously built (or 300m from your base computer).
so you start by standing 300m from your base computer towards the hotspot. and aim towards the hotspot and build, say, a wooden wall or something. then you can move there. and a bit more until just before the cursor turns red. and repeat.

also, once you upgrade your suit shields and jetpack a bit, you can try looting the larvae at abandoned buildings. these refine fast into nanites. Trick is to stand on building, shoot two eggs, jump down to collect, and jump back up to roof. If you aren't greedy it's pretty safe.

I only use my Corvettes I have planetary scanner and teleporter on both and they're full of refiners so I can refine all my resources scan all my planets teleport wherever I want

lol i got the refiner mk2 in my exosuit so i dont really worry about that and i like to scan each planet before landing on it so i dont use the planetary scanner
