They are one of the things I love with this game keeps you locked in for hours

The color of the planet only matters if you prefer something specific, as you guessed (cuz its ovbious af), i prefer more earth-like paradise planets, and yes the galaxy matters, all galaxy types exept harsh ones can generate paradises, planets in harsh galaxies always have some type of storm
