I don't level any pet I intend to keep until I get an egg, program it for ideal arena behavior(100% Helpful, Aggressive, and Devoted is what I think is best) and I adjust size and toy with coloring and physical mutations to have as perfect a version as possible before I level it.

yesish, but im doing it ass backwards and using data on the warp map. The only caveat is that this data is region specific. As soon as you change regions, the data becomes invalid.
