Yeah I knew when I first started off and I just collected everything and then sold it as needed those places were like my gold mine until I figured out everything else about the game It's good for starting and you learn a lot of basics of the game doing them too

The main reasons to seek out derelict freighters are cargo bulkheads and freighter modules...but you can only get one per derelict so you have to do a lot of derelicts to max out a freighter.

You can fully upgrade any ship add as many slots to the max and everything you want Same with your weapon or staff or gun depending what you're carrying

Different classes of ships can have different amounts of tech and cargo slots. Sentinel Interceptors max out at 60 tech, 120 cargo for example

Well with your exo suit you pretty much just get standard S units and then once you get everything kind of to the S unit what I did was I was grabbing S units and I got the best X unit and then if you want to go even further but I haven't had to so that's why I don't have a bunch of pirate parts a lot of illegal pirate parts that you can get at Pirate bases that are just an X can be higher than the unit S but I haven't died in so long that I haven't really thought about upgrading anymore of my suit to be honest and I'm max slotted

You pretty much customize it to your playing and then with the exo suit there's a lot of defense so most of our suits are going to look the same when they're fully upgraded Just slightly different with variations

Yeah as long as they're touching and then the ones that you want supercharged you just put the main unit of that on top the supercharged ones so everybody's as going to be a little different cuz the supercharged are usually random and or if you follow some things online you can you know there's a science behind it but it's not that important to me

Yes, specialized Multitools are the way to go IMHO. I have a combat MT, a mining MT, and a scanning MT, as well as a fishing/gravity/etc one

Yeah, it is like a treasure box as you described. Just summon it and switch, get what you need out of it or store stuff, then summon and get in your regular ship

I like to switch between boltcaster and javelin for fighting, and slogging through a bunch of extra weapon types in combat is a pain in the ass, so having a dedicated tool is way better for that. Also, the MT type bonus is worth it, because youcan have 3-4 supercharged slots for tech you want (all mining, all scanning, etc.)
