So, the way it works is that the efficiency of a singular extractor falls the more extractors are connected together with pipes in one network.
So, let's say you build 4 extractors and give each separate storage, they will mine at peak efficiency.
The biggest dip in efficiency occurs beyond a combined extraction rate of 1000 per hour.
And again, extractors work on real life clock so if you build a significant amount of storage and leave it be it woll eventually fill up

The only reason I went for pirate instead of venator is because it's harder to find a huge venator variant like this. Finding an S class pirate one was way easier.
