First imo they should tweak the existing combat systems.

Ground combat you can do most things by simply strafing left and right while shooting and you dodge 90%of the enemy shots.

Ship combat is just overall painful and not fun at all. (Maybe except your first couple tries it fun, but ..) like all you do is spin around and around and around because the enemy AI constantly try to just get through you to be out of sight.

A spinning simulator.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't care if the devs would make it either harder or easier .. I just want it to be more fun, because right now it's really not unfortunately.

I've got a problem. I am stuck slightly under the floor on the entry to the build area of my freighter.
I have a save point accessible, but when I save and reload, I do not get unstuck.
Sooo... What do I do? (PC, I guess I could edit my position in my save file...)

Can you try editing the base area to move the save point higher but still reachable? I'm trying to think of what other interactive base items you could build to see if any interaction might pop you above the floor...

If still on the planet, they do show up on your HUD if I recall, but try using the scanner and look in the direction you think you left it. Portable refiners, Signal Boosters, and a few other things show like this.

Can you move in the walls at all? If you can get close to your ship you can enter to fix it. (But that is usually not the area you are stuck in.)

No, just make another one, unfortunately. Though if you could go back, that one would still be waiting. (Portable constructs have positions recorded in the save and are attached to the planet, though I think only Save Beacons are downloaded from the discovery servers. Unless the Signal Beacon is in a base, then it is saved with it.)

No, I'm juuust outside of the build area, but too close so I can't modify tehe first room to put a teleporter

Hmm, switch the build camera to the free-roaming mode and see if that gives you more freedom to build.

Also, could try jetpacking upward while saving to see if that helps adjust the location saved to be better.

When under-the-map (of which stuck-in-the-walls is a kind of special case), sometimes jetpacking will teleport you to the surface. But unfortunately I don't recall it ever helping with stuck-in-the-wall...
