if you go to any system far enough away from the mission it will let you reset it to local waypoints, works for any mission. black hole is a quick way to get far away. assuming you're not skipping a step you can re-localize it

In my experience UI can sometimes do weird things. For example if you pin a recipe and it contains a crafting component you don't know recipe for then it will direct you to the space anomaly regardless of the recipe can be acquired there or not.

For example, after you teleport from the Anomaly to a base, be it yours or someone else's, you will have a "return to Anomaly" option in the quick menu until you reload or teleport.

I just pushed through it, spent the whole day doing the expedition! Can’t say it wasn’t worth it, this game brings me an inner peace like no other, so any excuse to play it for long periods of time is welcome

Although, even if the game says 14 minutes, I spend a lot more trying not to drop any cargo and picking up the cargo I tried not to drop (and failed in doing so)
