I have 1000 hours + in this game now.
I'll attack a sentinel dreadnaught in a c-class shuttle. The class helps. but is not critcal. Nanites. There are many sources of nanites. The most satisfying way to play this game is to get things that look good, then spend the time upgrading them. That is my opinion.

yes, find a planet with Curios Deposits aka Runaway Mould, find a good cluster of them, and build a minibase that prevents them from running away, with a teleporter and solar power. Then you can teleport back and forth, harvesting the mould, which respawns when you leave the planet surface. Then process the mould in a refinery for nanites.

But also I dont like only farming nanites one way, so just get them whenever I get a chance if I'm in the mood for that certain way.
