mods are there, they are limited in terms of functionality, hard to come up with something brand new until HG gives us new update with new stuff / objects / properties to play around with

and thanks to the modding system rework they did last year, many of the mods for "popular" files are "more robust" to game updates and dont exhibit conflicts with other mods

my theory is that, due to modding limitations that caused it to completely skip the "removing goop" from the green boxes (which doesnt cause any issues for those), it for some reason completely glitches out on cargo pods and prevents them from being interacted with altogether

1. game doesn't operate on servers in traditional way, you're not making or connecting to a server

all the universe you see in rendered locally on your machine

2. only Permadeath, Expeditions and Abandoned mode have separate player pools, all other players can still play with each other

Normal, Survival, Creative, Relaxed - all different flavours of the same difficulty preset, so you dont need to match exactly
