Nope, a galaxy has exactly one galaxy destination, the next one on the list.

So if you entered the ||core of Euclid, you will always end up in Hilbert Dimension, as that's galaxy number 2, and if you enter Hilbert's core, you will always end up in Calypso so on and so forth||

That's largely a meta game thing, not really something you can learn in game or has much use in game. Mostly the NMS alphabet is used to translate poster text and often it's the name of the poster in the build part menu. Or a couple of small bits around space stations. So you're not even getting any lore out of it. It's not even like the binary and hex text sometimes found in game that translates into some interesting lore.

Nah, runes aren't a thing...at least not that you can learn in game. NMS does have its own weird alphabet but you can't learn it or translate it in game and it never really translates into actual lore or something interesting.

Super-charging the launch thruster increases fuel consumption? That's totally backwards. It never occurred to me to supercharge launch thrusters and if they spawn in a SC slot on a new ship I always move them out of it fast but I never knew that. Seems like the sort of thing that should be reported to Hello Games...if you supercharge launch thrusters on a higher difficulty it should not be impossible to launch the ship and it should not be more expensive either.

Yes. Corvettes are really large and unwieldy...if you get far from them it can be tough to call them to you as they need a much wider clear area, if you want to fish they really suck because they float quite far above water which limits how far you can cast your line, if you want to re-roll capital freighter encounters they don't work because getting out of the pilot seat overwrites your restore point, different ships have different stat bonuses so a maxed fighter will do way more damage, a maxed explorer will warp further, etc.

I wouldn't necessarily say that...their extra tech gives them more combined stats than any other ship can have but they are not the best at anything...their weak point is low damage bonus of at most 30%...you can overcome it with a couple supercharged slots and their extra tech but weapons you don't supercharge at all will be quite weak. And a explorer specialized for warping will suck much worse at combat because 0% damage bonus and will have less fuel efficiency because it doesn't have the corvette's extra tech.

A non modded corvette is that...it can be quite large for what it is...you can easily have 20+ or 30+ habitation modules on one. Won't be as huge as a planetary base but more than enough for what it is. My corvette has 14.5 hab modules and it's about the right size for what I can do with that space...it'll never be able to have a great farming setup even with a million habitation modules.

Not necessarily, I do have one of my settlemets on a planet with extreme heat and constant extreme storms. Doesn't bother me that much, I mainly put it there because all ground fauna are plant fauna, which when fed give siroupy nectar which is used to make Nectar Islands and that is valuable for the nutrient ingestor because it vastly increases creature scan payout.

I now have four that I feel like are as good as they are going to be....there seems to be no difference in production speed or quantity whether the settlement is half a million productivity above maintenance costs or three million above maintenance costs and more population also doesn't affect production quantity like it used under the old settlement system so I have no idea why I'd bother trying to max them or keep boosting their stats once they are stabilized and S class.

I don't think so but the biome rules are VERY different in purple systems...normally lush planets with storms can't have an ever present hazard besides hostile sentinels active when it's not raining...but in purple systems they can. You can have constant extreme heat hazards on lush planets. And the fauna in purple systems can be a lot more insane too. So purple systems open up the possibility for more biome variation than in other system types though not all of it good.

That looks gorgeous. I just with the game could handle eclipses properly. When the sun goes "behind" another planet in the sky the planet still looks bright and you still have just as much light as if nothing was blocking the sun.
