You're only looking at the % chance per crate but that is bait. The sheer number of pods on and around NPC fleets more than make up for lower % chance...you will get on average 1-3 salvaged frigate modules form the pods of one NPC freighter fleet, and it's faster and free to look at the pods of an NPC freighter fleet than it is to loot a derelict.

You can get glyphs by either finding Travellers in space stations and locating their graves or by completing the main quest.

Doing The Purge will prompt you to warp to multiple systems, and each one will unlock a glyph.

It was easy when you used to be able to attack anything on pirate system and it spit out a lot of frigate modules but since the new update with all the shields around ships and I believe they limited the amount of modules that you get.

What are you on about? What modules? Do you want freighter technology modules or salvaged frigate modules? For freighter technology modules select technology at the final terminal. If you want salvaged frigate modules you are wasting your time on derelicts, it a lot faster and more time efficient to look at pods attached to and floating around NPC freighter fleets and loot the ones with salvaged frigate modules.

Hi Ben 10. Your character leaves behind a gravestone which holds your inventory, you can just pick your stuff back up after losing. If you die again before retrieving your stuff the grave will be overwritten… but only PvP players usually bother to do that, and you can opt out of PvP in the options menu

Yeah, you can choose what goal that points towards. By default it points you towards the current mission, but you can change it

But for white solar system, there are none. Solar systems would only appear white if you have the economy scanner and apply the life-form filter over the galactic map...in that case white means the system has no dominant life-form, which means uncharted systems without NPCs or a space station.

If the galactic map lets you warp to systems that appear to be red or blue that is also a sign you probably put the life-form filter on the galactic map because with the life-form filter on red and blue do not show the system type but the dominant life-form where red=vy'keen and blue=korvax and if you can warp to them those are likely yellow systems as you probably don't have specialized system drives for other system types.

Galaxies are huge maps and there is 256 of them. Each one contains billions (1 billion = 1 000 000 000) of Star Systems

Plot critical targets will have a red marker over them. When you’re on a planet’s surface it tends to only direct you close to the target, and switches your scan visor to a signal seeking mode.

You can also save the game if you find a structure with a waypoint, but the primary way is getting in and out of your ship or corvette. It’ll show a message to say the game is saved

If you have the economy scanner you will see either 1, 2, or 3 stars or a skull by the dominant race symbol...more stars = stronger economy, and skull = outlaw system.

Dismounting from your ship always manually saves. You’ll eventually have the blueprints for a “save beacon”, too.

I mean, it is physically possible to tame some flying creatures, but ground ones can be approached and tamed by feeding them with pellets. Once fed, hold E on them to open the menu and adopt them

Some of them encounters can do things if you shoot them or fly through them, but the Anomalous Numbers Stations are just very rare and don’t have any real purpose. At least not that we know of.

You can raise your faction standing with a species by talking to NPCs. You use your words to attempt to impress the species, and in turn you can get rewards.

By looking at the name, if I remember, you can potentially identify if a planet has certain storms or what kind of planet it is more generally

Sort of, but not directly. A player can exchange their ship with an NPC and then another player can buy that ship from the NPC before they fly away, but once the NPC gets the ship it's inventory is wiped and it's stats are pretty much all rerolled so it isn't a 1:1 transfer, unfortunately

So, you want to be aiming it to face in the direction of the target. It’ll make a different noise whilst you’re looking away from it as opposed to looking to it.
