Also protip for this expedition - if you have a corvette back in your main save you aren't particularly attached to, cut it down to the barest minimum (it's actually really funny if you make a ship without even the Habs but use a hallway instead)

No. Unless a player joins your group of up to 4, when he leaves the anomaly he'll be in whatever system he called the anomaly and you'll be in whatever system you called it in. It's more accurate to think of the inside of the anomaly as a pocket dimension you get transported to when you enter it and you only summon an entrance.

But if you set your networks settings to allow anyone to join your game you can have random people jump in your game...I would not recommend doing this though because some people trying to join someone's game at random are hostile and generally not behave well even if you have PvP off.

After you accept the new freighter, u can transfer the cargo in the inventory and even move your built base in your prev freighter

the option will be provided to you during exchange

you can pack installed tech blueprints and move them over as well

stuff like Indium Drive, Teleporter Receiver, Flight Assist, etc

or you can rebuild them in the new ship if you fancy wasting materials again
