I tried to do an undergound Ac Indium mine using the squares to cut out a perfect "cieling" from the Ac Indium deposit I found, Put a bunch of those auto minerson it uside down, started building a base in there. My friend loaded in to check it out and the ground regenned, which is how I learned that was a permanent problem in the game. I remember hoping that would be temporary lol

There are weird and conflicting gravity patterns at the meshing points. It can start throwing you around. Mesh you into stuff around it, stick you into walls of buildings etc.

There was a weird thing where MTs could spawn with a flame thrower tech but royal MTs in space station were never a thing...maybe a mod if someone datamined them from the files before but not in the public version of the game.

The best thing to do for galactic core jump is to have a ship with no optional tech besides the Indium Drive, which is needed to jump into a galactic core, then have a multitool with no optional tech installed except the analysis visor, and uninstall all the optional tech out of your exosuit.

IK i can use rep kits but I only brought 20 and the core blew like 150 things.
I just reloaded to prep properly.
Also, my freighter actually did the jump, and the starship took the damage and not the freighter, so burner shit is the move for sure

Leaving your ship broken gets funky when swapping ships again later, if it's not loaded in into the freighter bay swapping to it might not work since broken launch thrusters...you might be able to swap to it on the anomaly but I'm not really sure about that. Just fix the damn basics...it doesn't cost much anyway.

You guys know how sometimes planets can spawn inside other planets? Well the Anomaly seems to have a designated spot in every solar system...if you teleport from the anomaly to a base and back the anomaly will not be where you summoned it...it will be in its designated spot for the solar system you were in...well I found a system where the designated sport for the anomaly was probably inside the giant of that system because when my ship was about to exit the anomaly I was stuck in what seemed like broken an not properly loaded in textures. Reloading the autosave did not help as it put me right back in the broken terrain. Had to reload the restore point..that at least was at one of my bases...not sure if a restore point on the anomaly in that location would have loaded correctly.

Strangely no. When I did my pirate medals and standing I actually wrecked freighters in a pirate Korvax system...not because I hate the Korvax, the opposite, they're my favorite race...my freighter, all my non-living frigates and one settlement all have Korvax NPCs...all my bases and settlements are in Korvax systems too. The reason I was wrecking Korvax pirates is because 1) I had over 8000 positive standing with the Korvax but only ~2200 with Vy'keen and Gek each and 2) Pirates just give Korvax a bad rep so I felt like I was cleaning house so to speak.

The thing is a passport only restores negative rep back to 0 but it does not restore lost positive rep...so a passport would not have helped my situation. I didn't want to hit the races I had far less standing with since I had a vastly higher good will burn with the Korvax.

Are you getting killed by pirates? What you can do is once they start scanning you call the anomaly and wait until they finish their scan to enter the anomaly just as they are about to warp in...that cancels the attack. You can exit the Anomaly and keep going as if nothing happened.

You can also try using a Cargo Scan Deflector but it's not guaranteed to work...but if you're fast you can try it two or three times before they finish scanning you and that makes it more likely to cancel the pirate attack...but the trick I posted above...that works 100% of the time.

I think you can just simply negate a pirate attack, if you get out of the corvette's pilot seat, since you considered "on foot" then. At least it works well with sentinel attacks in air and space.

I never felt like this out of the blue...I only stopped playing NMS one time since the 2016 launch and it lasted five months but that was because of the Waypoint update shenanigans. I have never felt burnt out on NMS and I'm closing in on 8000 hours played since day one launch in 2016.

Pirate attacks aren't that dense...are you sure they were pirate attacks and not sentinel attacks? Pirates only attack in waves during certain Nexus missions and even then the max is 3 waves. Sentinels keep attacking wave after wave until you take out their dreadnaught.

Never seen that. During some missions if you exit atmosphere you get attacked but those typically stop after I deliver whatever the mission cargo was. You should try saving the game, and rebooting the game.

lol...that's not how those charts work...they can't find a portal. You use the chart to find a monolith, then you go and if you correctly answer the monolith's puzzle then you can interact with it a second time and you can trade a racial relic in exchange for the location of the planet's portal. But those charts will never find you the portal...they literally can't.

Hi peoples, I was wondering if you could help me please. I have hit a roadblock with NMS. I have installed a hyperdrive, crafted both antimatter and a antimatter housing, however I cant combine either to create a warp cell. There is no option to do it in the inventory and the refiner only accepts one item at a time so I am stuck 😢

Have to craft the Warp cell in your inventory. If you do not have the recipe yet then keep going through the main story and it will guide you to that blueprint

You should have the blueprint as well, but you make things with clicking on an empty inventory slot.

If it gave you the recipe for the antimatter and the antimatter housing you should have the Warp cell blueprint. Pretty sure it gives all three at once

No. But this is one reason why I like using a save editor. As well as backups and other helpful information it's a lot easier to move items around in your storage containers and ships that way
