Yeah I was going to say you can put one hab at regular direction and the other half at 90° on top of it. This technically gives you four buildable walls. One on each side. And you can have a ladder going into that since you can't get in a door

You can build those base overseer and manager terminals at any base or on your freighter. And as soon as you activate them the person who manages that station will show up there.

So you don't have to hire a different overseer or manager for each base and each terminal.

I go to pirate stations and have a list of them in my teleporter, I start at the one on the top of the teleporter list, and I buy all the suspacks besides the suspack(goods) and then I unwrap them and sell them, and go to the next station on the teleporter list. If you have 10-15 pirate stations on your teleporter list, you can go back to the first one and the store will be replenished. Depending on how fast you are at doing this, it's about 100-250k nanites per hour

There's a way you can build them that put them pretty much right on the surface. But you don't really want to do that because when the waves break through their ship your character will get thrown into the swim animation. And then back to regular walking as they go away

Make sure permissions are turned on and you can co-op builds bases together

Settlements are a dedication. Require frequent visits and assistance early on to pull them out of debt and make them profitable.

You can buy maps at the cartographer to locate settlements on a planet/race of your choice

Locating a Portal
