Corvettes can specialize for warping but probably not worth doing outside of abandoned mode because they won't compete with a properly upgraded freighter for distance and they have relatively weak but not hopeless damage bonus plus the extra weapon tech means that investing 2 SC slots in a solid primary weapon is worth doing. I only put 1 SC slot in hyperdrive and can do 3195ly while my main weapon does 240k damage. Unless you are in abandoned mode I don't think specializing a corvette purely for warp range is a good idea.

But crystallized helium itself isn't directly tied to purple systems.

You really shouldn't build bases close to other players bases...game at best will make the other bases invisible because they overlap and will prioritize yours and at worse it will crash the game. Base boundary can be extended about 1000u from the base computer so even putting a base 2000u from another base is a bit too close for comfort. Generally you should not build anything closer than 3000u to another base...including your own other bases.

Okay I did a bit of Googling and found out my problem. Somehow my HomeRealityIteration or whatever in my savefile got left at 0 (Euclid) when I jumped galaxies to 9 (Eissentam). So it wasnt saving any eissentam stations in my list because it thought i was still in Euclid

i changed it wtih a save editor and now everything is working again

Ya unfortunately I can't do that because cubioid rooms duplicate whenever I try to delete or move one. The only way to fix it is to delete the whole base, so I'm not risking that again. That kind of depends on the game too, ones like farm simulator have piles of mods either for things that weren't original to the game or else ways to change the gameplay.
This one probably somewhere in the middle of extreme mod use and few to none, since the base game functions just fine without but the developers are tolerant of others modding as long as it doesn't interfere with others.

hey guys. just joined bc m at my wits end and i need some kind of help, baaaad.

im working on the expedition. i used the space station to teleport to a base that was underwater at a sunken freighter. (i know, i know. my fault for taking the easy way out.)

well the base i spawned at has no portal back to safety. so im just a tiny helpless gek 1400u underwater. a friend was working on collecting resources to get me out somehow and while he was i was at least able to just sit inside the little base room this random person had constructed. but now, the base has disappeared. so im just floating 1400u underwater dying over and over again, more and more of my items breaking.

he has finally given me enough parts to build the nautilon platform, but as you may know, that cannot be built underwater. so i can't make a nautilon to leave in.

is there anyone who might befriend me, come to my game, and build a base with a portal or something so i can escape this? this is my primary save and im really not thrilled about having to lose this file and never play again.

i've been scheming for two days to try to get out of this but now im begging.
