With a game like no man's sky... you never truly feel like a 100% expert in it... so much stuff in it. Also you should see my frigate mission times I get <.< Can get missions that take over a day and they take less than a minute to complete.

Various adjacency bonus stuff for freighter and having the right ones on the boosted slots. Then there is the frigates as well... getting rolls on them that lower time as well. Feed frigates an assortment of foods to try out which is the best timing and then write those down as say T13 or T11 or T12 or T16

I know I could get better times.

I could complete all 5 missions in less than 10 minutes.

If you're looking for freighter modules, use an "emergency signal scanner", this S Class salvaged freighter module run can be done in about 90 seconds. 7 areas, there is a turret in the 1st room to the immediate left, a couple little shooter balls in the 2nd room, you can run by both...then clear on to the end. The system is in Euclid. Happy Gaming!

Yeah, if you are just getting back into NMS, probably don't wanna deal with PD 🙂
I'm not a fan of PD myself. If you are on PC, make backups so you can restore after stupid deaths.
Survival and PD are basically the same thing except PD destroys your save when you die, which is pretty dumb for a game like NMS. It's not a rogue-like where the life of your character is only some 24 hrs at max anyway, where the point is to just try to survive as long as possible but death is inevitable.

Not quite. It has these elements to some extent, but it's mostly a sci-fi fantasy game focused on exploration

Personal gearing I can say is quite "linear"? In a sense. Because there's no slot limit there's no huge demand over slots and do particular "builds" it's that's what you're after. As for ground combat, while it's fun and the various weapons are fun to switch between, it's by no means a highlight and or in-depth

Anyone have a bug when playing with another person occasionally the connected player will be in space when in the space anomaly? They can walk to their own ship and such but can't leave etc. They end up having ot quit and re launch the game. It has happenend several times at this point. Any tips to deal with it. We notice it happens more when both have corvettes.

You can find a lot of small moons like that. The bigger the planet or Moon the more it spreads out lootable resources like salvage scrap, fossils and other goodies. So you spend more time bouncing between lootables tham actually looting

But on a small moons it generates plenty of loot and slams it all together due to the limited geography.

Also more likely to find power hotspots close by mineral or gas hotspots

if I were to hypothetically be conducting research in another galaxy, would it be better to operate in a lush or norm galaxy, respectively because eissentam and euclid are incredibly populated and are of those types? I feel as if by choosing lush, it would relate more to people in eissentam, who are already outside of euclid and are in other galaxies as-is, but with norm, the biome odds are directly comparable to euclid.

the conspicuousness of lush planets in lush galaxies is easy to keep track of for such a thing, when some regions can have few and some can have a lot. at the same time, it's doing this in a norm galaxy that's directly comparable to euclid that leaves me to make a decision instead of just deciding on lush
