It involved trying really hard to fit a... dang, keep forgetting the name, the speedbird quarter-cylinder casing thing. Two of them, facing each other between two habs. There was other spaces to attach, and I tried using the forced placement glitch by flipping and rotating it into place with timed placement. At some point it got placed halfway between where I wanted it and where it wanted to go, in the middle of another half-piece.

I'm supercharging S class pulse engine modules and one of the thrusters. I tried putting the medusa in one of those slots instead and it lowered it considerably.

There's no snap points on the cockpit itself. Only in the back. So you can't connect anything directly to the sides of the cockpits.

Easiest way to work around this is using an offset long hab to force a snap point into the cockpit the way you want it

Just put down the long hab in front of the cockpit and use the rockhopper engine on the left side to slide the hab into the cockpit. Meshing them together. After your part is placed you can delete the hab

No but if you're patient you can free place a window at a 90° angle. Attach a hab to that and then build off of it.

Free placing Windows allows you to build habs at almost any angle or position you want. And then build off of it

If you want to build a 90° properly without window free placement you need to set yourself up a template. A full 360° building framework that you build your Corvette off of.

Takes about 30 minutes to set up the framework for 360 building. But after you do it's super easy to build at any angle off of it

As far as some of these methods go it's some of the easiest glitch building and tricks you could learn. It's nothing like Base building where you have to be fancy with your controls.

Like to turn your habs around at 180° you just build one hab on top of another, put a ladder in the bottom and then you can rotate that bottom hab backwards or forwards. That simple.
