well, using that picture i just posted as a perfect example . Corvettes look so good that the rest of the game now looks bad , in a way. the game uses large low-geometry assets with lightly detailed textures

then swoop in hyper detailed corvettes that can be built to any complexity and when you place it next to the other assets it looks wildly out of place

basically everything else needs a texture facelift now

Think it’s sulfuric acids the yellow flower? Or you can buy the shield packs from the store. If your referent to actual hull damage you need to go into the ship inventory or cargo menu and physically repair whatever was damaged with whatever components it needs or repair kits if you have them

You can recharge your shield with sodium, refined sodium (sodium nitrate), or starshield batteries

The actual health thing (not the shield) recharges over time afaik

yeah I don't like it either. After I modded the vette the working thrusters moved around. Before it was only the end ones that weren't firing and it was balanced, so I didn't even notice that some weren't lit up

the 1st resource on every planet is the stellar resource and depends on the star system type.
the 2nd resource on every planet is the biome resource and depends on if it's lush, toxic, scorched, barren, etc.
the 3rd resource is random.

For moons, the rules are a bit different. No stellar or biome resources. you get gold and silver etc.

you can't really go by the colors. NMS colors are weird.
look at the system class.
F or G is yellow.
K or M is red.
E is green.
B or O is blue.
X or Y is purple. (you won't see these until you unlock them)

You don't neecessarily need to group with people in game. I mean like participate in a guild. Many groups have designated systems or regions where you can stake your own planet or find a planet to share with others and put your base.

Find curious deposits and make a farm. Don't waste time trying to scrounge nanites.
Also farming sentinels for glass is a good way to collect sentinel upgrade modules that you can sell for 400 nanites each.
