Another thing to note is that only the circular and square prefabs have a power snap point. If you are using normal build parts, you will need to power items individually

That's the basics. I find it easier to go into build menu, choose edit, then choose wiring mode. Then you just move to the attachment point (creates a green circle with a dot in the middle when in the right place). Click, then do the same with the target that needs power.

Don't bother too much, so long as it is understandable you can hide all the wires anyway with one device.

How to Expand the Base Boundary

4. Aiming towards your goal, place a 'building' part in front of you (expands ±50u). Decorations may not work to expand.
5. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 until you reach your goal, or reached maximal distance.

Note: Save/Reload within the base boundary, if expansion no longer works.
* Max expansion is ±1000u away from your Base Computer in any direction.
* A maximal distance of ±2000u can be covered with the base computer dead centre.

Almost dead cold playing NMS at "1600p" 30fps lowest graphics with MetalFX turned on. Very happy with the visuals and performance.

Battery consumption is 15% per hour. Not sure how good or bad this is.

I've found that lush worlds without storms and without aggressive sentinels still exist, just rare. Some exotic and marsh worlds also don't have hazards or storms. There's a type of exotic world that I call a lush mimic that literally looks just like a lush planet and the only thing different is the presence of anomaly fruit or what it's called.

Distance doesn't matter. Look for the 3 star systems

Merchant is behind the Trade.
Explorer behind the Portal.
Mercenaries above the Explorer up the stairs.
Pirate merch is below said stairs.

i put my bridge 3 levels higher than the deck, partly for vision. but i doubt you want to build up. i wiuld suggest planting different color flags on the deck, then sit in the chair and see what ones block the view, and you will know where you can add stuff

Aye ^^ And depends which NPC type. Green trails generally means they'll only attack if you do first, sentinel red trails are hostile if they spawn after you for committing crimes, and pirates are always hostile (I think?)

those are ground base items and to add them and the decking i have, you would either need a mod to allow base parts in the vette build menu, or use the groundbase overlap technique to place stuff from the base onto your vette while its parked at your base.
alternatively, you can use the robot arm scaled up as a crane and the wood pallets from the salvage decor menu as decking if you scale them up a bit
