yeah, it has to be uploaded and it would be best if it's uploaded when it's full. if base isn't uploaded other players can't visit it if you aren't in the system, base just won't exist in their game. If you upload it then it should download for other player when they enter the system, you also don't have to use a commball, base icon will be visible and players can also teleport from the space station or other teleporters in the system.

Keep in mind that game allows only one uploaded base per player per planet so if you uploaded two on the same planet only the most recent one will download for others

I would try creating a low orbit base first to try it out and see if it solves the problem.
My hope is that the devs introduce a buildable object that allows us to specify where on/near our base we want the corvette to land/dock.

my corvette takes up 10 out of 12 base floor tiles wide and possibly as much long; so i think a station landing pad would be insanely big for a base.

maybe some kind of docking clamp that can attach to a bases or not an let you position the corvette up in the air with the teleport beam accessible would be better

I asked in base building but I am gonna ask the master. is there a newer and better way of making a low orbit base? like puttin your base computer ALREADY in the air? or moving it up?

Well, it's been a while since i did anything low orbital base related, but no matter which method you use objective is to put base computer on high altitude. Some people would jump out of their freighter and quickly build it, I always used clamining base animation to build landing pads and get up (landing pads also let you feel out what is the maximum hight you can build at), now you could probably do something using a corvette.

Since relics update the limit of how high you can build from the terrain was increased too

I would propably still go with base computer animation for the simple fact that it helps determine how high you can build without base parts not rendering after a reload

and it's relatively quick and simple

okay so get on the ground. look way up and try to put a computer there? or heck. get the corvette in position and try and put one in the air ?

plop down a base computer, claim a base, during the animation pull up building menu, select landing pad, toggle free placement (can be done prior) and spam landing pads

you will easily build landing pads beyond reach of your orignal base computer so just fly up and build another base

I would recommend save + reload before going up to check if landing pads survive

After claiming base at high altitude build anohter landing pad so you have somewhere to land and then go down and delete the first base computer

all landing pads built before claiming high altitude base will be deleted and you are left with a perfect grounds to building a low orbit base

Hey guys, I’ve run into something really strange and I’m wondering if anyone else noticed this.

I’ve got two ships: a B-class shuttle and an S-class Sentinel ship. On the shuttle I use the Cyclotron Ballista and Rocket Launcher, and it absolutely melts enemies — shields go down super fast and rockets usually one-shot pirate ships.

But when I use the same weapons and mods on my Sentinel ship (even though its damage potential is around 680 compared to only 114 on the shuttle), it takes 2–3 rockets to destroy the same targets, and shields take way longer to go down.

Is this a known bug with Sentinel ships or am I missing something in the weapon scaling or synergy system?

Would really appreciate any insights or testing data if someone’s compared them side by side!
