i think the rarest system ive found in my entirety of playing had both a monochrome cable pod planet and one with a glitched autogenerated name (HEAT in all caps). apparently only two or so of those name glitches have ever been recorded, and because of the part of the plot i was on when i found it, i didn't think to record it... it's probably 300k out from the core of euclid.

If you have access to purple system/water worlds (now that I learned more how not to get my ship lost), and the submarine sonar with "find drowned ships", this is the easiest ship hunting.
Minotaur will find abandoned building, ships or crashed freighter, the submarine has a dedicated ship only option.

Metal Plate for example uses a lot of Ferrite Dust, I setup a Paraffinium extractor so:

Unless you crash regularly even in normal saves, then you should lower your resolution and turn on scaling and aunty alicing
