In game set up a base computer at the place you want to move your base to. Then in the save editor under "Base/Storage" just select your old base and back it up. Then select your new base and restore the backup. The result will be your new base computer now has your old base at its location, relative to it.

So look in your catalogue. Go into materials and items, then into plants. Click "Star Bulb" and it will track them. Star Bulbs only grow on lush worlds, so it basically points you to the nearest lush world.

DLSS is gonna be less because it is using seperated cores

I don't use either cuz I don't need it, but if you're gonna use some I would recommend DLSS on your nvidia card

there are issues i find. for one, im unable to change any DLSS setting without the game instantly crashing 100% of the time

and 2... XeSS allows me full ultra at 60 fps where as DLSS i have to sacrifice shadows at the very least

What I can't understand is how everyone on youtube gets such silky smooth transitions from space onto planets. I almost always see the planet loading in chunk by chunk as I fly towards it lol and I have a beefy PC and it's running on an SSD. Could be because I have the settings maxed 🤷‍♂️

I find it nice for tinkering, but I don't fully trust it. For instance you can't really trust damage potential on weapons like the neutron cannon, and it tries to group up elemental resistances together on the exosuit instead of treating the hazard system as one whole entity (since they all have adjacency bonus with each other). It also struggles to define a good layout most of the time, since it doesn't take into account that you can just move a group of modules together without affecting their stats in order to make room for another block of modules. I mainly just use it to find the optimal layout for a single block of modules, and then place it myself.

Then best way I've found to test is by shooting trees. Just always use the same trees on the same planets and look at the numbers.
