That's actually really useful ngl, I'm glad they're adding more uses for things like standing and whatnot. I remember back in the days there wasn't much point in most of those systems! I hope they keep adding more and more, I find learning languages to be incredibly addictive and fun, but there's not much point to it. Like it does have some benefits like being able to understand terminals and solve puzzles, as well as getting tiiiiiiny rewards from random aliens if you choose the right word to practice, but other than that... not useful :(

The game has two multiplayer sides. One has been there from the beginning, which is that "discoveries" is simply that every time you visit a system or planet, the game checks if you were the first person there or not. If you were, you can name the place and upload the discovery to gain units, but if someone else was there before you, it'll say it's been discovered (and named) by someone else.

The other side of multiplayer is the active one where you group up with people to travel with them and explore, and there's also a certain special place that's like a hub where players can visit and mingle. You'll see :3c
