kill only the regular sentinels and the repair dudes. collect the glass, open it, then sell all the upgrades.

for about 5/10 minutes of that, you can get maybe 5k nanites? depends on the upgrades you get, but it guess its about that

You only discover a planet when you land on it

They may not have landed on all of the planets, which is a frequent occurrence

Also, discoveries are only uploaded to the servers when a player manually uploads them, either by pressing the "upload all" button or by giving them a name

So many players will only be shown to have "discovered" things that they gave custom names (if they didn't know about the uploading system and the "upload all" button, or were hesitant since you used to not be able to rename discoveries after first upload)
