If you go in right above the actual launch tube on a space station (newer models only, doesn’t work with abandoned/outlaw) you can start walking in towards the main part, then fall down a floor, start walking back again and you’ll fall into the station

You can mark them with charts but it's a bit tricky

Commercial Charts can locate them but they seem to be in the same group as shelters

So you have to use charts until you locate all types of POI and then go to shelters or whatever was marked in place of shelter, clear the marker and try again

Moving around and activating chart in different places can help

Eventually chart will mark a "habitable base", that's the wild base computer

You can also just stumble on them when exploring

It took me a bit to find one with charts but that's how I found a spot for my new home on an extreme cold planet with frequent blizzards

None, you can see if a planet has fossils when you scan it in your ship and it says that it has fossils (finding one is just luck)

I was walking one of my cute companions around the anomaly. Some guy with a staff started following it for a bit and gave a thumbs up. He went to another room, came back, said “i have something for you” and dropped trillions of dollars worth of stuff in my inventory. Im still fairly early game lol

For normal ships yes. Also if you want to save on fuel, whatever has the lower warp cost, use either that ship or your Freighter to warp between systems

If you mean reloading to before the battle began, doing the battle again and landing to check class, yes it still works and rerolls the class every time

If you are doing so in an Outlaw System, your "unluckyness" would make sense

There is no Extreme Survival difficulty option, that achievement is for reaching the maximum level of the "Extreme Survival" journey milestone, which tracks how long you have spent outdoors on extreme storm worlds
