I don't see a bug-report section so...

I just started playing again on PC and am running into some bugs regarding the scanner. Playing with controller and it doesn't always automatically start scanning an object. Sometimes it will just sit there doing nothing, other times if I move the cursor off then back onto the subject it will start, sometimes it won't. It's very random but happens enough to where it's a problem.

Also, the precision needed to scan flying creatures is insane. I don't think anyone tested that with a controller. It even seems more demanding than scanning planet-bound creatures, like you have to keep it within a few pixels of the crosshair at all times. I don't remember stuff being this hard to scan in the past. (I know it wasn't, because I have 300+ hours with controller only.)

1- yes every time you jump between galaxies your technology will be damaged

2- to get the autophage quest you will need to finish the following
• Complete the artemis quest
• Start running a settlement
• Complete trace of metal quest
Find an echo locator
• Find and clear a harmonic camp
• Warp to any system, quest should start after approx 30 seconds, this will be a communication, follow steps to start quest.
