Hi guys, so how does the multi-player work? Will i run into players?

You can run into players who are in the same star system as you, but it is incredibly unlikely to have that happen without seeking it out

You can also join other players to be transported to their star system

Or use giant portals later in the game to reach any planet that you know the coordinates of, which allows people to have communal planets and stuff, though note that this isn't really a multiplayer focused game besides existing alongside each other

One subtlety that @queen arch didn't mention: there is a summon-able "central location" you'll discover through the story that acts as a kind of "multiplayer hub" where you'll definitely encounter other players. It acts as kind of a meeting spot where you can join other people if you want

Most exocrafts do. But I feel the problem with exocrafts isn‘t in themselves but rather that there aren‘t any specializations out there which give them meaning, for example actually hard to traverse planets where you cant walk but need to use a vehicle.

Despite this they‘re still fun and have some niche use cases which can save you time, such as the exocraft scanner

I still wish they had seperate shielding though

I noticed that the upholstered chair and the byte beat juke box in my settlement bar have a texture that looks like red, green and blue stripes on the left most side of the texture that is a bronze looking metal with a zig zag in the middle of the metal. Looks cool on the jukebox because the texture is being mirrored.

sadly tho, all light floors and light boxes are still blue only, even when you color them in any other color

reported the issue one week after the beacons update dropped, hopefully they fix it in the future, many bases use the light floors to make pixel art stuff

They reset when the game is forced to forget your claiming of their stuff, which will vary depending on how many different things you do to buffer that out

Short answer: don't expect their stuff to reset, just go to different space stations

Quicksilver is not a microtransaction currency. You can obtain Quicksilver through missions at the Nexus.

Daily Quicksilver Missions
You can complete one 400 Quicksilver mission per day, if you miss one, you will be able to do two the next day, up to three available missions. The secondary reward and type of mission refresh every 10 minutes.

Weekend Missions
Weekend missions run from Friday 6pm UTC until Monday 9am UTC and offer 1,800 Quicksilver. You can only complete this once per week. This mission will be the same type and take place in the same system for everyone. The secondary rewards will still refresh every 10 minutes.

Spending Quicksilver
You can spend Quicksilver at Polo's Quicksilver Synthesis Companion (QSC), also found in the Space Anomaly. While most Quicksilver items are cosmetic, there are exceptions such as: Void Eggs, base building parts, starship trails and figurines for your cockpit. Unless the item is consumable (e.g. fireworks, Void Eggs), all purchased items in the QSC shop are unlocked account-wide, instead of per save.

The QSC is also where you redeem Expedition and Twitch rewards some of which cannot be purchased with Quicksilver.

Community Research Milestones
Community Research rewards are unlocked in phases by the community completing any type of Nexus mission, not just Quicksilver missions. When a phase is complete, a new item is unlocked for purchase at the QSC.
All gamemodes and players collectively contribute to the progression of Community Research.

Alternative sources of Quicksilver
You can receive Quicksilver by speaking to Nada periodically during the main storyline and/or through the condensed stellar ice pulse/space encounter.
