I like the Ball Exotics for a very specific reason as in a certain configuration, they can look like a ship from another game I adore.

Orange Ball Exotic with the two side thrusters and no wings or front beak kind of looks like the ship Juno from Jet Force Gemini pilots. I dunno, I just like it!

Ah, I just noticed that the "return to Nexus Anomaly" button you get on the Quick Menu after you use the Teleporter there goes away after a save-and-restart (or reload, I bet). That is a useful feature, but using another Teleport or space warping also makes it go away, so kind of limited.

I love under-the-map bases... Even bases in caves (though historically cave base-building is not stable, some releases have altered terrain). Though to be fair, my oldest surviving save (started in 2016) has like 20 bases that were once on regular surface terrain and are now under-the-map. Revisiting and establishing a way to reach them from the new surface terrain with Short Range Teleporters was kind of fun. 😉

Whenever i need to craft something i just click on it and it shows me what to refine to get it or craft it out of

pick something with 2 ingredients that sells for a decent amount like say polyfiber or lubricant and then once you can produce a bunch of that find something bigger that uses something else with 2 ingredients and meshes with your 1st thing

if you go polyfiber its starbulb and cactus

you can multiply cactus with pyrite

and stabulb with parafinium

I don't think that's really possible with how HG designed the hauler models

on player ships, at least
