Ever since the difficulty custom update was released, I haven’t been able to enjoy anything other than creative mode.
normal, relaxed, survival, permadeath, expedition, they all feel so suffocating now.
I even tried locking the difficulty myself, but since it was a choice I made, it only made things feel more frustrating.
Strangely enough, back when custom difficulty didn’t exist, I was totally fine playing on normal or survival, I adapted to the rules of the world and could really stay immersed in it.
But now… I just don’t know how to enjoy normal again.

I honestly think Sean Murray really UNDERSTOOD the assignment. The people behind other space games, really seem to be missing the entire point of everything. And thus Sean who actually understood and is executing the assignment very nicely, I might add. He has brought to us a very great game! The best space game that I have ever played to this date. Yeah, the game isn't perfect, but, amidst the flaws and minor annoyances and what-not. The game is a highly playable game with much re-playability to it. Yeah, I read the reviews that were at the get-go, but I have read later reviews, and it was enough to make me want to actually try NMS. And lets just say, I'm hooked!

So I'm kind of just realizing every single race-oriented gift that gains a favor to that faction when given to one of them is worth 200 frigate fuel or a bulkhead/upgrade module.

You peruse their fleets that jump in. If you see something you like, you blow up the frigate losing a single reputation. Then just give one of those gifts to one of them at a station and you're net positive for loot with no hit to faction rep lol.

I call those 'empty planets', and shoot the surface of them from my ship to get stacks of ferrite

before nutrient ingestor even, and since the Origins update, plants on planets that dont have large plants/many plants will give increased resource drops. for example, it was not unusual to get 1k+ carbon from a single plant, with just supercharged optical drill

I can't speak from the perspective of a steam player but on xbox, I have had no issues cross playing with other platforms. I do know that in the past mp has caused issues on the main questline but as far as connection issues, a steam player could give you a better answer. Maybe try #nms-questions

Also, after updates pretty much every game I play gets wonky for a few days XD so I wouldn't doubt it lol.

There is a water planet in the new relic expedition with green water it literally has waves that are literally like 20-30 meters high when there is a storm that was absolutely crazy I never experienced that on a water world before did they do that for the expedition or is that normal on some water worlds?

I started the expedition after only been playing for 1 week, compled it earlier this week & made 37k nanites, 30mil+ units

I like the outdoor seating area, I might add some cloth overhangs or something to tie the canvas tent in more cohesively. But it's coming along nicely. It looks like it fits well on the planet, which is great imo. You adding other buildings?

There are ways, if you aren't a switch player. If you can use mp, someone that has one can give it to you or you can use a bot service or save edit.

or if on PC you can install mods that allow you to buy/unlock old expedition rewards
