the expedition save isn't like a concrete thing, you can be on your main save and start the expedition, yes you start over during the expedition but you can put all the stuff into the box at the end of the expedition and you'll get the stuff from it on your main save

It still starts fresh, just with a transfer link to your main. And you can only recover the stuff you transferred when you get Anomaly access in the exped. Still have to play the first planet with no help

The Expedition works like this.

You use the Terminal and start the Expedition. There is a Expedition box, for items. you can place items into BEFORE AND AFTER, you can do the before to give you a jump on the Expedition. and After for rewards.

So will have to "start over" in expedtion. go threw the mission to get the rewards. then at the end you can go to the anomaly and place everything you want to keep in the box and end the expedition

Thus returning to you main save

with all the items you received

including credits, Nanites, Quicksilver, tech, ships, multi-tools, etc etc

So it’s been a while. When you find a settlement like that you can be over. If you rush finding it as soon as you can early game can you instantly build your base there in that settlement instead of being by yourself out in the middle of nowhere? 😂

oh also, didja know the exo skiff is a physics thing? so if you manage to hit it while standing on it youll go flying
