You can get them from derelicts, as a reward for disabling pirate dreadnoughts, I think you can get them from Nexus missions, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

You can also technically refiner duplicate them if you want to use a less "legitimate" method

You could also trade with other players to get them.

so, yesterday in nms i found this really nice planet that is a lush orange planet

orange grass

and foleage

i built a base on an island

... collecting a huge variety of bones was not on my nms bingo card for 2025.

I was, on the other hand, hoping for a map.

Collecting bones being anything than an annoying weekend mission wasn't my expectation either

I have been collecting bones since wednesday

I wonder how big i could make a skeleton with some scaling glitches

And since the limit of how high we can build without parts going invisible changed

I need to plan some new orbital base

The hight limit for both orbital bases and bases on waterworlds was 1050u counted from the terrain

In case of water worlds that was bottom of the ocean

So if deepest oceans go up to 1500u

And surface level bases are supposed to be possible now

Then I assume the limit was pushed way beyond 1500u

For example here I'm standing on top of my Døme and all those panels are still visible after a reload
