Yes, you can buy / get contraband items, teleport to your base, then teleport to regulated station

And sell them there for profit

The only thing I can think of is how during the tutorial stage you arrive at the station and initially the teleporter is disabled

So there's some mechanic to set a flag to enable teleporters in general and one would need to bypass that somehow

Expedition requre you go threw a Serious of missions and challenges to receive the rewards, making it challenge to obtain the stuff especially if your not already set up with resources pre-hand. but if you use glitches or edits ye it makes it trival. but no you dont need high tech, because the expedition starts you off with a clear save with nothing you gotta start from strach

HG is lax when it comes to expeditions. Yes, there is a FOMO factor, but they repeat the expeditions at the end of the year. Sometimes they do a special exped with mix of popular rewards. Sometimes they put rewards as Twitch drops, so you just need to watch some streams to get these. And HG has nothing against using mods / save editors / service bot / custom JSON files to get these items, because at its core NMS is not a competitive game.

We might dislike the fact that HG keeps pumping out expeditions with those rewards and there are bound to be people who miss them out one way or another. But the sad truth is, nothing gets new players into the game and existing players back into the game alike like throwing some shiny playthings at them. HG is a company, NMS is their product, they need to sell it. Bug fixes don't drive sales. Texture improvements or engine optimisation don't drive sales. New fancy ships and drips do.

There is no merch store (there used to be one). They are rolling out cross save feature so people are tempted into buying copies of NMS for another platform to share the progress there.

Planetary Charts mark the location of different POI types on a planet. Most planetary charts can be acquired by exchanging Navigation Data for specific charts at a Cartographer and/or as a Guild mission reward from an inhabited Space Station.

Note:

• Space station at Outlaw systems do not harbor either a cartographer or a guild mission NPC.
• Purchase Random Map option will not allow selection of specific charts.
• Same type of planetary chart cannot mark the same POI twice, unless the player clears the previous marker first. This will result in an error message Similar location already marked.
• The message Locational interference detected appears when a chart is being used in an uncharted system.

Navigation Data can be easily acquired from glowing cubes and/or disks on station tables and shop counters, from ancient data structures, or by charting a waypoint on a planet.

Adhd is all about the Dopamine something gives you. not that your getting bored. you just not getting the dopamine levels require to stay enguaged in some. me my adhd causes me to hyperfixate one something. once im interested, i'll keep focused on the things for days, weeks, months, years. why i have 14k hours in skyrim across all platforms XD
