I logged in to my ~120 hour save this morning to check the status of my latest frigate expeditions and was shocked to notice a stack of 50 Starship AI (somethings... don't remember)... worth $600 MILLION UNITS! WTF? I've heard rumors of some players "gifting" others cakes and such at the Anomaly. But if that is what happened, I received no notice... nor was I given an option to accept/reject. Is this what I should assume happened? If so, I honestly think I would have said, "no thank you" had the person asked. Fortunately, credits are only one unit of currency in the game and these days I'm more focused on finding salvaged frigate modules than credits. But seriously... wtf? (For now, I've stowed these away in a storage container and am trying to pretend they are not there. But I also can't bring myself to actually delete them. <sigh>)

Hello, I played this game when it first came out in 2016 but recently I’ve been getting back into it (loving all the updates since 2016, this game is amazing). I read a lot about civilized space and I notice there are some “communities” recognized in-game with decorative stuff. My question is, is there an actual in-game function that allows people to band together as a community, or is it just people who’s bases are in close proximity, and they roleplay as this community. Basically I’m asking if you can actually make some sort of guild/tribe/company/community that is recognized in game and allows people in the community to interact with the “base” even if not everyone is online.
