I've just watched the 2017 GDC presentation 'Continuous World Generation in No Man's Sky'. According to that presentation you guys use 6 Bytes to store a single voxel, including 2 Bytes for the density data. I was wondering about that, because your grid resolution is 1m, so I thought 1 Byte should be enough. Do you need the 2 Bytes to store a single density value with increasing range for the lower LODs? Or do you need the 2 Bytes to store 3 different densities in x, y, and z direction?

The bug is that if you put the shield near to someone and you slowly move away you can drag that person, I have been testing it to see how it is activated and what it does and the truth is I want to report it but I can't record or so I think

The shield is a physical object

It has a collision box, it interacts with other physical objects like bullets or lasers fired by Sentinels
