I see Shuttles as the backbone kind of ship, they aren't the strongest, heavily armed or durable but anyone can get their hands on them. For my Star Wars fans, Shuttles are basically CEC ships.

I just want to say this:
I play a lot of different games, single and multi player. Some have fees or micro transactions, paid DLCs (some of which have less content than any of the major patches in NMS) etc....
I absolutely cannot figure out, how on earth does Helo Games manage to release all these amazing updates, for free 🙂 They are truly special in my opinion, when it comes to managing their game. Kudos to Hello Games.

I think A) they reign in thier greed, and B) a lot of the new tech was paid for by the dev budget on thier new game, then the backport into NMS was fairly cheap. They are a great studio these days...

It's kind of a mixed bag for me. I don't like that it sort of set a precedence (at least for a while) where publishers became okay with releasing games half-finished and patching them later down the line after NMS did it.

Like Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 76 are notable games that didn't feel finished until a few years after release.
