Will do. I believe that is a bug where the "atmosphere limit" that prevents base building (they vanish when you save and reload) is being applied even near the sea level. Only deep-water bases then become possible...

Yeah usually that's an ODS issue, it just hasn't fully synced with you, if you try to rename the system/planet it will eventually revert to whoever named it first.

But I an discovering new purple systems, naming them, and later it is showing the procgen name but still discovered my me. I can name them again. And it avain reverts to the procgen name. Discovered by me. Which I can rename. Again.

you'll eventually find a mission for it yourself, it's kinda mid to late stuff. you can find planets with these purple crystals on them called dissonant planets. there's a whole questline you have to do involving them, but you can find them by selecting a star system that says 'dissonant' before you warp to them

right I just remembered how to open up the map, if you go to #bot-spam and !planetmap <insert planet name>, like for example !planetmap Distira, Gunter will show you the map of the base that is registered on the planet, even if they are not present on the planet due to the author not reuploading lol

I think the only way you can get them back is through save editing

or starting a new save, redeem the eggs. make a base and put the eggs in a storage container and then go to your main save and go to the glyphs of that planet

you might have to do the tutorial though

Oh! Well in that case, you could start an expedition in your primary and then well yeah sure it's gonna be quite the journey but once you finally technically "finish" that expedition, don't press the finish button on the expedition terminal just yet, get the egg from the expedition rewards while in that other expedition file, and then transfer it over through the terminal, then switch back to the primary save to pick it up

on the brightside, you can technically keep duping your good ship and extract the best modules that was installed in them to be used for another ship you wanna get and use, and if my guess is correct, the next expedition opens tomorrow for you to be able to pull like that off, and additionally bring some goodies there over to your primary save lol

Hover over the part in the building menu part selection, if a part has 2 yellow stripes it means it has variant, game will show you which button to press to reveal variants on your platform, after that you will see more parts, those are variants of the part you were hovering over
