If I disable this plugin under Plugin in OBS, everything works fine. But then I don't have SE multistreaming.

Hi. I have a repeatable issue with OBS when the SE.Live plugin is installed.

OBS works fine during streaming, but:

• when I CLOSE OBS (only with SE.Live installed),
• OBS generates a crash report file,
• and after reopening OBS I always get the message:
  "OBS was not shut down properly – do you want to start in safe mode?"

The crash happens ONLY when SE.Live is installed.

Crash logs always show:

• obs-streamelements-core.dll
• libcef.dll
• obs-browser.dll
  Error code: 0x80000003

If I remove the SE.Live plugin (obs-streamelements-core.dll), OBS closes normally with no crash report and no safe-mode warning.

Is SE.Live still supported or compatible with OBS 31/32 and the current CEF browser engine?

I personally tried everything:

I installed the latest OBS and StreamElements, but the error still appeared.

I uninstalled everything and reinstalled SE, and during the installation there’s an option to install OBS as well (I think it installs version 30.x?), but even with that older version the crashes still happen.

When I disable all the docks (activity feed, multichat, etc.), sometimes there’s a crash and sometimes there isn’t — so it’s clearly caused by the docks. Even ChatGPT, when analyzing my crash logs, confirmed it.

I even found a suggestion to add --setrace to the OBS shortcut target line, tried that too — no effect.

Nothing helped. Crashes always happen when closing OBS, and when opening OBS again it always shows the message that it wasn't shut down properly. That’s everything I have tried so far.

@lethal stag if "control audio via OBS" is enabled in browser source properties, you have to go to Edit > Advanced audio properties, and enable monitoring to hear this source yourself; if you already did that and it's not playing, go to settings>audio, change audio monitoring device to something else, then back to your headphones

Well I have noticed a new pattern my OBS. It seems like when it gets around to hour or 3ish it just suddenly imaginably gets overload. I'm not sure why it does this and I try to look at task manager nothing really stands out.

So what did you guys do, ? i cant log in on selive , sestudio, not sure what to call it, on OBS, at all, during the log in, and the authorization to allow the connect on twitch, the callback page just locks up and stays there till OBS times out and you just get the twitch connection button again.

it loads up in chrome, no extensions for ad blockers or none of that nonesense, i also get this odd action of it bringing up the authorization to connect to my twitch account twice.... so i authorize one, then it comes up a second time...I authorize it, then the screen goes blank , like it usually does, before it says successful then it takes me back to obs, but it dont do that, it times out and i get the Auth time out error.

i have cleared all cookies for both twitch and stream elements, removed all authorizations, logged out of my twitch account, multiple times with no success.

is there a way of going back to the previous version ?

Chatbot is turned on and I have a 'follower' alert from stream elements that definitely works when I test it. Hi everyone, has anyone had any issues regarding tiktok streaming authorization? I applied with stream elements and was approved, streamed for about a few days, then it was suddenly revoked. Weirdly I can still stream to tiktok but only through their "TikTok live studio" which is much less convient than the OBS plugin. My account says it has LIVE access but whenever I try to reapply through stream elements it says revoked, and just won't let me stream through stream elements

Even more frustrating is I also applied through restream and THAT works, I literally only can't stream through the stream elements plugin, which is the one way I want to

Hi everyone! I would like to have some help, I'm pretty new using StreamElements and I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm trying to create my very own "Followers Goal" overlay and it looks pretty good on the overlay editor, but when I add it on OBS looks like so small and the text is barely readable.
So, I was expecting if someone could point me in the right direction about how to find a sweetspot on font-size or overlay width and height to make it look good on my stream.

Yeah so you should be able to resize it if you click on it in the obs preview screen

I'd recommend separating the text and resizing it in the overlay editor and linking the text back to the follower goal after resizing buy i find its better to just tinker with it until you find out what will work as sometimes the editor can be clunky

This is a twitch feature, when someone is timed out all their messages are deleted. Instead of timing them out you could just delete the message and that would only delete the latest message.

I’m having an repeating issue with SE where when I open OBS, it says “Downloading plugins” or something with Stream Elements listed. Then it pops out a required window for stream elements to update. U then update it and finish the installation. Then, it tells you that it needs to close some programs, including OBS. When I try to reopen it, this process repeats indefinitely.

How would you recommend I move forward to not have this issue and be able to have OBS open without it automatically closing due to SE?

I've been using OBS to stream to twitch and I'm using a 300s delay. Now I tried StreamElements multi-stream to stream to twitch and youtube simultaneously. It all seemed to work really well until I realized that the youtube stream did not have a delay (the twitch stream still had its delay). The twitch stream was default "OBS Setting: Twitch".

Did I miss a setting or is this an issue?

SE stated that the OBS update will also be accompanied by an SE update regarding multistreaming.
I am particularly interested in this with regard to TikTok. I see here many statements to that, but nothing about the streamingkey.
Does SE now work again without a streaming key from TikTok, or does TikTok continue to oppose streaming via SE?

I need some help. For the past month, whenever I use SE.LIVE to stream to Twitch and TikTok at the same time, my TikTok stream gets suspended after about an hour. The suspension message seems to point to SE.LIVE as the reason.

So I am dealing with alot of issues. I tried multi streamin on tiktok and twitch today, I ended stream after the test, it worked fine but now I have a several amount of issues
When I try to stream it shows invalid custom config -> starting output failed. Please check the log for details. Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date.

I have an overlay with an alertbox. I have configured everything correctly. No actual alerts will work if they are triggered by an actual person (a real follow, tip, gift, etc) but emulating it works fine. Found a bug with the website when using editor invite links. When you go to the https://www.streamelements.com/invite/uuid link it just links to the user profile with the name "Invite"

you need to install the overlay in your streamelements account. if your friend has no share option then you have to create a new overlay and open the overlay. with the plus button add a new custom widget and open the code editor in settings menu. then copy paste all the codes from your friebd one by one. as html css js and fields. once you paste select all codes right click and click to “format document” or “selection” to fix broken sections. still can be some broken parts tho. you can get help from chatgpt or something to arange the codes. and in css find the color parts (if fields has no color change options you have to change in codes) and change the color. Idk if there is a better way to do without overlay sharing. I tried my best with my knowledge.

Yeah, and that's why I might have to hold on to PayPal for donations yet. I live in Czechia, but my channel is merely just 60% on the way to be eligible for SE.Pay.

I am experiencing a critical issue with the Store Redemption widget in my overlays. Even though the loyalty system is working, the visual alert never appears.

Problem Details:

Bot Response: When a user uses the !canjear (or !redeem) command, the bot correctly deducts the points and confirms the purchase in the Twitch chat.

Widget Status: The widget is completely invisible/inactive. It does not trigger during real redemptions, and it does not show anything even when using the "Emulate" button within the Overlay Editor.

Troubleshooting already performed:

Deleted and recreated the Store Redemption widget multiple times.

Verified the "Redeeming this item shows an alert" checkbox is enabled in the Stream Store item settings.

Changed the alert image and removed the sound to rule out file corruption.

Checked layer order (Z-index) to ensure the widget is on top.

Tested in a completely new/blank overlay and a different browser (incognito mode), but the issue persists.

Hi! The settings panel is missing in the overlay editor and I can't edit the default image

Hey all I'm having issues with Twitch VOD tracks in OBS. I have the stream track set to 1 and the VOD track set to 6. I'm using application audio capture for Spotify, and I've only checked track 1. I've disabled desktop audio, and enhanced broadcasting is off. However, my Spotify music is still appearing in the VODs. I've already tried re-adding the source and restarting OBS. Do you have any ideas on what might be causing this?

You’ll need to submit your Twitch, YouTube, or Kick page along with your follower/subscriber count so they can approve your access to the plugin. Approval can take a while, and if you get rejected, you can reapply again later. I know it’s annoying, but you can keep trying until they approve it.

I use a program called ghost chat. It allows u to sign into twitch, YouTube, and kick and youd get the chat from all of them.

I dont use all of them, cause I only stream on twitch, but maybe that could be an alternative for you. I know that ur viewers wont see the chat, but you should Def see it on ur screen while u play. That way u dont have to have the twitch chat popped out in ur screen.

I know some of my games are full-screen and dont wanna pop out properly sometimes, so this helps me see chat while im playing especially since I only have 1 monitor rt now.

@fluid grove se.live replaces the built-in streaming output; if you don't want this and the uninstalled broke again (it does that often), you can delete obs-streamelements-core.dll from the plugins folder, or disable it in obs-studio's new plugin manager (in the Tools menu)

The only USB mics below $100 that I would recommend are in terms of dynamics (sadly not many) Samson Q2U, Audio-Technica AT2005-USB, and Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB. In terms of condensers, Razer Seiren Mini (only the Mini) and Rode NT-USB Mini.

Please note that there are some models that I don't know enough about (like that T-Bone) to make a decision on whether or not to recommend them

When applying the filters inside OBS, the plugins have a pop up UI when you can adjust the settings. I currently have EQ, Compression and Noise Gate on mine but theres a few other options you can use too @queen goblet

Had an old person I knew from college that got jobs in VR right out the gate and now shes a well established name in the space since she got in early.

I think virtual spaces as a solution for conventions will be a unique application + with VR chat and vtubers using full body tracking to create more immersive experiences (i.e. YFUBABY), it'll see some moderate success. Nothing too wild until we see better advances in the headsets and more accessibility overall.

Wonder how much further Sony will develop their headsets...

So actually you can get great tracking with a basic webcam and good lighting! I run one of my peeps through a C922 + a small mini ringlight I brought from a mobile vlogging kit from Best Buy. (You probably dont even need that a really good lamp lighting your face could work well too)

If youre doing tracking via Live2D software like Vtuber Studio, thats more than enough to pick up your face.

Ive experimented with VseeFace for 3D models, and the same set up also works for that.

The main thing the software likes is good lighting on the face to catch all the deformations. If you have thick wide glasses it can (?) be a bit temperamental, but Ive found pushing your face expressions to help the software catch it

Ive managed to secure a fully rigged and art 2D model with 3 expressions for about 600 ish (but I tipped the artist heavily, they were charging 400 at the time)

Since its so hard to find someone who does both rigging and art at the same time...

Full body (arts only) - about .5x above price

Expressions each - 10-30/35
Wings appendages etc. Additional fees
Complex model - additional fees

Iron Vertex quality - last I checked they clock in at 1.7k? For end to end pipeline? They could be north of this now with huge demand.

3D models
This ones all over the place Ive seen 100-500 and then for clothes or assorted accessories or outfit changes 20-100. 3D models already come rigged typically, and then ofc depending on the artist theyll also give you a file converted for your model to work in VR chat (or can do this yourself)

Though I personally feel comfortable paying upwards of 700-1k if the artist has a particular quality YMMV. Youd need the check the crowdsourced spreedsheet because its been a few months since I last looked for 3D models.

Those that Ive worked with get stuff done in a month/month and a half so it wasnt too long of a wait

But then again I didnt have a rush fee and didnt have a debut date announced to hit so it was no pressure on the artists
