Yeah, sometimes there’s different versions of them. You should just disable them all and then put them all both back on.

Or you just need to sign out and sign back in I think that was the issue before.

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Recently I have gotten some problems with my overlay, it specially got worse after I got a SRT-server 25 days which works flawless.

When I’m watching my VODs the overlay don’t look sharp at all on the live-scene. When I tried my new privacy scene, I could see on the VOD that the overlay look sharp as you can see on the pictures below.
When I’m looking on old VODs from 2-3 months ago or on old clips my overlay looks sharp.

My logo, donation- and subgoal is loading from Streamelements, while the clock/time and city is from RealtimeIRL.

On both my live-scene and privacy-scene I use the same link from Streamelements and RealtimeIRL-

They are scaled to 1920 x 1080 (1080p), so I can’t really figure out the problem.

I stream from a Samsung Galaxy S22 with latest version of IRL Pro and have around 8-9k in bitrate all the time.
I’m using the latest version of OBS, NOALBS and Streamelements OBS.

Here is a clip to show the kind of distortion/glitchy sound coming through my streams only. I think it has something to do with application audio capture. In this clip it really only discord being messed up but in other instances it can be just game audio, mic audio, or spotifiy.

Hello, I have a problem with connecting 7tv to streamelements chat, what happens is: Only some emotes are working in the chatbox where on tiwtch chat they all work perfectly fine. I already enabled FrankerFaceZ and BTTV then enabled 7tv addon but chatbox of streamelements remain the same where half emotes work and half doesn't. Cany anyone help me with that?

My alerts are not working live. They work if I do a test event, my browser source is fine, everything was working good up until i got an Affiliate. I got several new followers today and my alerts didn't work even once. I did add an extension on my Twitch, called Pando, it also kinda notifies about new chatters, followers etc - but I didn't see any warnings about any conflict with stream elements.
Does anyone know what is the issue?

Also, my feed is slightly outdated, but I assume it takes time to update - but I got, for example, 2 paid subscriptions, and my SE feed has no information on that, nor the newest followers - while Twitch feed displays them.

It feels like my SE is somehow out of sync, even if i re-authorized it.

Restream is a way to use all media in one chat, but if you’re just talking about on stream elements, editor, I think you should be able to copy and paste the chat URLs into there as well. I haven’t tried it yet but sounds like if you’re talking about that just using stream elements overlays correct?

Yeah there are two editors. The overlay editor and then the elements beta editor. The overlay editor has a built in chat widget but the new elements editor for overlays does not seem to.

Hi there, I've been using streamelements for alerts on twitch and recently the sound has been coming through distorted. I can be streaming for a while (sometimes 2 hours +) with them working fine, but suddenly they go higher pitch, crackled and distorted. I have tried changing the bit rate in OBS, resetting the alerts, deleting and re-adding the sounds and the problem persists. Is anyone able to give any advice? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I am having an issue with my alert overlays. I am using a mov with alpha transparency converted to a webm file. Depending on your CPU and browser source, yes. Are browser source is basically a Google Chrome tab. When displaying an animated overlay for example, it can cause a bit more CPU usage.

You have to mirror your phone screen to your PC and use the overlay within OBS. They are plenty of apps that can mirror your phone screen. Most apps do cost some money if you want to remove watermarks or use a higher resolution (720p+).

Browser sources can run in the background, so even when it's currently not visible. The easiest way to find out which one it is, is to leave OBS running (without streaming), mess around for a bit, check Task Manager while doing that and end the process that spikes to 100%. Then go through your scenes and check which source disappeared.

hello together! does anybody else have the problem that the "warn and delete message" cannot be saved in the "banned words" category? we're using regex to prevent foreign language so the chat can be moderated and would like to warn viewers automatically so they are informed about why their message is auto-deleted.

Any tech people have some insight for me? Mainly regarding Samsung phones. When I mobile stream using the SE app, I like to have a Bluetooth speaker in the background to have something playing for my viewers and it just plays nonstop. However, lately my streams have had some type of noise cancelation where my music isn't being heard anymore unless I am actively speaking, which makes the music cut in/out based on me. I've been told by SE developers that the app does not have any built-in noise cancelation. New to pc, just starting learning Streamlabs OBS & had a question about StreamElements' overlays as a browser source.
There's a small delay when switching scenes, where when you transition to another scene that has an active StreamElements overlay via browser source URL, it shows nothing for the first second or 2 then the overlays load in as intended. Anyone know how/if you're able to use that without a delay? I would like the overlay show instantly & appear smoothly but not able to figure it out, if possible. I've used another OBS called Lightstream in the past & it had the same minor issue, so I assume it's something within StreamElements. Thought I'd ask here. Thanks in advance.

First of all:
I've never used anything from StreamLabs, nor Lightstream so I don't know how to fix it there. But for the one and only, the best, the original OBS Studio, you just have to make sure this option is NOT checked.

The "chat box" itself shows up in OBS using the Linux Browser source, and while the individual chats do show up in the StreamElements editor in real-time, they do not carry over to OBS while I am streaming. Any idea if it's possible to create a custom !followage command using default streamelements variables? We like to set it up so people can only check their own followage and not check other people's. We used to use the decapi.me API but that hasn't been updated for the new Twitch API and now I have to ask streamers to log into other sites using their Twitch account which is probably safe, but it would be nice to be able to use sender.followage or user.followage native streamelements variables in commands.

Oh looks like you can use your own token and utilize decapi. I may give that a try

Yep, you can generate your account token on decapi and use it in any stream you are at least a moderator.
As regards to followage variable, it isn't available on SE 😦

Only problem. OBS doesn't work with the SE plugin. The window stays white and closes. OBS works perfectly without plugins.

now i did read earlier someone had a similar problem and to fix they backed up everything, then they uninstalled OBS and installed an earlier version tried again and claimed that worked for them. i am on OBS 30.2.3 and it seems to work for me

We managed it. Start without admin mode etc. The only problem is that multistreaming is still very buggy. At least Twitch and YouTube at the same time. I have now used an older version of OBS and am using the normal SE live again.

Interestingly, without me changing anything, the bot suddenly works in YouTube 😁😁 very strange xD

Anybody here who can help? trying to setup the duel commands. It does work at the base, however we changed the commands to accept and decline a duel. While everything works, if you know the commands, the chatbot sends the duel request with the wrong commands (The standard commands) into the chat and I cant find a way to alter that message.

They had me install a second copy of OBS to a different folder. I set things up there to the BETA…THEN, oddly enough, my original OBS was now on the BETA. I’ve yet to go live as I’m recovering from eye surgery, so I’m doing things bit by bit.

Looking for some help on the multi-stream plugin. I had to load a clean install of OBS to another directory. Went back to my original install of OBS and voila, it allowed me access to the BETA and the canvases. The hitch in my giddy up is this...each time I open OBS it turns all my camera filters on. My workaround is I have a Streamdeck button that turns them all off. Just curious why they keep resetting like that.

You've uninstalled it incorrectly (likely by having the files just deleted), there is no way to uninstall it now. There is no uninstaller. You have to manually clean up the things the uninstaller would have done.

Open the registry editor and search for things like "streamelements" "se.live" "stream elements" "se live" and very very very very very very very very carefully decide if you can remove them.

Deleting the wrong entry can, and will, destroy windows and you will have to reinstall it.
