@long notch There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@slim juniper make sure the overlay matches its set resolution in OBS - this usually helps the chat widget.

To be more clear: OK, so I have SE setup to stream to my FB page, but I also have a podcast that I stream to multiple FB pages and to LinkedIn, but when I try to go into Settings and change over to Restream.io and then hit Start Streaming, it just defaults back to my linked FB page. Is there a way around that?

@inland brook Hello!, The like reaction is working, but sometimes it takes a while to appear, but the "heart" react is not working, stars, share, are working fine, the only problem is for example: If i have 10 reacts, 4 likes and 6 hearts, in StreamElements just appear the 4 likes, and sometimes, one like take 40 min or more, to appear

@carmine grail are those predefined overlays? If yes, then you will need to recreate them and then copy over the missing asset widget to the edited overlay you have.

@dire carbon you can set themes up on Twitch and then copy them to Facebook. The only thing you have to worry about are the alerts since they arent the same.

@coarse jasper 1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member.

@small tusk If you are not seeing Likes/Shares on your current stream or page, that might be due to how the privacy settings of the person liking/sharing your stream are set.
If they are set to private we won't be able to see the events.
Specifically for shares, if they share in private groups, we won't be able to see the event.

Hey guys! I'm setting up Streamelements for the first time and I'm running into issues. For example, I have 31 followers on Facebook, but when I try to place the Total Follower label it's showing as zero. What am I doing wrong?

ARG. I've been using StreamElements for quite a while with Twitch. I recently got a green screen (YAY) that I think I've got figured out. My problem is with FB Live. It's suddenly telling me that the browser doesn't support the camera and I need the Beta version...which I tried but that was just a cluster. So, I'm trying to us my OBS to go live. I've got the stream key copied but FB has a Server URL that I'm supposed to copy. I just can't figure out where! Any ideas out there?

@silk hazel supporters are like subs on twitch. You have to meet some type of requirements after the level up program to get them. Not sure what they are tbh. Fans in stream elements are likes on Facebook though.

@indigo fog There are no specific rule or requirement for having Supporter feature on FB now. It is just invite only. The FB gaming teams check and invite streamers. I have seen pages with 5K followers have the follower option, but pages with almost 100k or more don't have that.

Every time I choose the option to connect with FB, it gives me an error and tells me to create a FB Gaming Video Creator page. But I already have one and I've tried clearing cache and still nothing. Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

You will have to crop the webcam into the frame, you can do it by pressing ALT and move the mouse as you do when you resize it at the same time on each sides, and stop with the mayus

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

heloo, i wanna ask, why my facebook live always reconnecting every few minutes, there is Disconnected warning.. then reconnecting and then connected again. but weird, this is not happened when i stream on youtube, nimo etc. it is always smooth no connection problems. do i have a problem with my ISP or some RTMPS problem..? since FB live using RTMPS. Hi. I was buy a overlay/widget/alerts from Nerd or Die. It use well with Streamlabs but there is no widget for Streamelements (Event List/Chat Box). I already ask Nerd or Die team but they said not available for facebook. But they have it in Twitch. So i try to copy custom widget from twitch to facebook (by copy and paste html css js to another widget). It appear but not pulling any data from facebook event. Still work with twitch.

Can anyone help with this? Or i need to wait Nerd or Die team to fix this.

@silk hazel Facebook API doesn't allow sharing the Live viewer numbers with others. So OBS can not show it to you.

@toxic sedge StreamElements counts Likes and Followers separately. Where as FB keeps Page Likes as a separate number, but in the Follow numbers it includes both Follows and Likes 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ (FB is weird I know)

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

There are no "best settings".
Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

@radiant osprey FB by default has little bit delay. I won't call it lag. It's normal for FB gaming, some experience 20-30 seconds, and some have less.

For audio I guess you have to tweak the Audio settings in OBS.

the total followers will not be updated via that way due to a missing Facebook API point for it. They don't provide the number unfortunately.

@toxic swift chat has nothing to do with streaming or not, to show in live u can put in a overlay, and if u are talking about the chat window in OBS to be used by you its always working even if stream offline

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

@high bloom u don't, total DATA can't be simulated, u need to have a top 1 donator if u want to test the top donators etc

instead u can test by changging its base to session top, then it should show the top donator (or anything else) from simulated values

another problem I am having, is currently I am at 50 followers on my actual page... yet stats on SE shows 35... is that because stats are given based on when SE is first initialized for the stream? cause some of these followers were obviously before I switched to FB Gaming so definitely would like to ensure the correct stats and numbers are given

Also what is the difference between new follower and new Fan. As I had some new followers come in but never updated on my overlay because they showed up as new fan to streamelements. @reef girder There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@cobalt bolt Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

I started using streamelement few months now. Usually when i clicked on "Start Streaming" it will directly connect to my facebook page and go live. Now when I clicked at it, is show the message "could not access specified channel or stream key, double check your stream key. If it is correct, there may be a problem connecting to the server". It's already been a few days. Pls help

@magic epoch There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.
