Hello, friends. I'm having a very annoying issue lately with OBS.live. For the last 2 days it has been essentially cutting my audio volume in half. I use a 2 pc setup, nothing has changed device wise, nor setting wise on my faders/gain for my audio gear. My windows volume is normal. Things are only quiet in OBS. I've already tried the "audio ducking" trick I saw in another forum but that did not fix my issue.

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

it seems you're using the regular obs vs the obs live - i'd check the tool bar and try to find a button to switch it, or close the program and search for obs.live

I have been having problems with Media Request lagging on stream every few videos/occasionally and it doesn't seem to be from the internet connection. I have obs live but have been using ground control for Media Request pretty much exclusively. I'm not sure if it could be associated with obs at all or completely in ground control, but I saw @shy mountain posted a solution to what seems like a similar problem, but the link no longer works. Wondering if there has been any solutions found since then? (sorry if this should be in the twitch help desk, I wasn't sure)

When I went to put in my hotkeys inOBS, the SHIFT+- was being set at MAJ+ with a bunch of OBS words. Same for the SHIF+= combo to. I rebooted my computer and it seems to have fixed the problem. Regret not taking a picture though, if it happens again I will. My apologies.

Good afternoon. I am trying to go live through OBS.live and it is saying I cannot connect to a server to output. I just streamed the other day, my key hasn't changed, and I have allowed access through the firewall. Can anyone help me figure out why this is broken?

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Every time I swap scenes (to another streamer) I get a helluva hitch in OBS Live, and I can't even have studio mode open it gets so laggy, let alone having everyone's face on screen during intermission

"Video off" is for when you use the "show on stream" and you want to hide the video, but show the progress bar. That option will always revert back to "Video on". @grim mason

Hi. in the other green OBS app that i used before i had the ability In-App when i press start stream to specifically choose the stream i created in (YouTube Studio - create - go live) and always uses the same stream key .. but now when i switched to OBS live i cant do the same thing and i have to go to my live dash board instead of (YouTube Studio - create - go live) to(1- copy the stream key for each stream!!, 2-change the stream in the live dash board) then when i press start streaming i can choose to stream with live dash board settings, and that makes creating stream from YT studio useless. So is there a way or add-on for obs live to catch the created stream in YT studio? Thank You

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

a month ago obs.live worked correctly, for a few days it doesn't work .. when i select the window to register and open that window (for example fortnite) obs freeze

So when you are on OBS and then type in the chat like KEKW it will show KEKW and then another message on top with the emote

But if you type normal messages it wont do it

also have done !emotes update and still hasnt worked

^ only known it to do it with BTTV emotes so far

restarted it and its now working without duplicating them.
It will do that for this session but then for another session it might duplicate it again? As it has happened a few times before.

one question aswell. if i want to have media requests go through my other audio drivers instead of my default ones how can i do that? At times i dont have my music or that wanting to be playing through my headset because ill just put my music through my speakers then my notifications and that can then still go through my headset. How can i set the audio output on media request

or same with the stream alerts aswell so i can have both of them going through

why is my stream lagging? I used to stream with my PS4 on this same internet connection all the time. I never had lag issues. It starts out fine and then eventually just becomes a choppy messy garbage can.

Internet bandwidth tests aren’t necessarily indicative of an issue contacting Twitch servers. That test will determine if there is an issue connecting directly to twitch

I am using an Elgato HD60... would windows capture be better? I honestly have no idea what I am doing. Game sound comes in fine, but the chat and my voice isn't coming through the channel.

also you could change the resolution of your overlay, but you will need to edit the overlay after that to check that eveything is in the right place

how to fix when im streaming in fast movements/fights my stream gets blurry and '
