Can anyone answer me this, I have my stream deck hooked up to the audio (game and other chatters in game). For some reason when I mute them to talk to the chat and proceed to unmute, it fails to do so. No game sound for the stream, chat can’t hear others in party, etc.

hi. my twitch bot account became disconnected over the weekend and i'm unable to reconnect it in the manner i've been able to previously. initially going to StreamElements > Stream Setup > Setup Bot & Tipping sent me to a page asking me to log in, after i entered my credentials se.live crashed. i reopened it and disconnected and reconnected my twitch account. then when attempting to open "Setup Bot & Tipping" the menu wouldn't open at all. restarted computer, now when i click "Setup Bot & Tipping" i'm stuck in a purple spinning loading screen and nothing is happening. i haven't changed anything since last week when everything was working fine. using OBS 27.2.2 on a macbook pro M1

You can only run one campaign at a time, If you have one active and wish to end it, you should be able to close it SO LONG AS YOU HAVE MET ALL THE DELIVERABLES

If you have not reached the base requirements and you cancel it, then you will not receive payment for the campaign

Always make sure that these 5 things are set up. The brief will provide any additional requirements, but these are best to check before going live for a sponsored segment:

Title has the deliverables (Whatever command the campaign has, #ad OR #sponsored), Game category adjusted during the stream, command and timer active in the chat and the panel set up.

Hey guys, I'm hoping that someone here can help me out! I'm using SE.Live and I have a custom bot name set up, and it works perfectly fine while I'm offline, but the second I start my stream the custom name bot won't work at all and I have to switch back over to the StreamElements bot if I want any of my commands and timers to work etc. Is there a fix for this or does anyone have any advice on what I could do to solve this issue? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance for your help! 😁

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Hi. I'm having an issue with my alerts overlay not actually being visible in OBS. I hope this is the right channel to ask about this.

-I've set up a new overlay for alerts on Stream Elements. I've set the resolution to the proper size.
-I've previewed alerts in the widget editor. I can see and hear them just fine.
-I've saved the overlay, and copied the overlay URL and put it in as a Browser Source in OBS, with a matching resolution.
-It is currently the top-most source in my list, and all other sources are turned off.
-I preview the alert in the editor. It does not appear in OBS

I have also tried another widget (Latest Subscriber) with the exact same methods, and that one worked without any issue whatsoever

1. Sponsorships are only on Twitch at this time.
2. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you will receive an invitation. There is no direct application for specific campaigns nor is there a formula to get an invitation. Simply using StreamElements and being an active member of your platform will help your chances of getting a sponsorship.

Not really related to any hardware or drivers, this is the browser source pretty much.

I would recommend a clean reinstall and run OBS as administrator (it was not).

And if the issue shows up after the clean reinstall, remove browser sources one by one and test it.

That would not explain why it would crash on camera settings, but this is the idea I have

You need to save the profile and scene collection from the top menu. This will save both your scenes and settings.

Turns out that crash report was from yesterday, it was a Nvidia driver that was causing the issue so had to rollback, the latest game ready drivers just mess up obs

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Use the Twitch Bandwidth Test to find the best Twitch server to stream to. Set Duration to Medium. You can uncheck any regions you're not near.

After the test completes, click the Share Result button to upload a screenshot, which can then be copied and pasted here.

Yes, it's possible.

With native OBS it's a beta feature. (Sources -> Add Source -> Application Audio Capture (BETA))

You can use the Elgato Wave software (not too complicated) or Voicemeeter (very complicated) to do it also.

If you use the OBS source, set it to Monitor Only, then set your other audio to Monitor Off

Hi. Is there currently an issue with media request? Users cannot seem to type in a YouTube URL as they are met with the message "an internal server error occurred". Even as the broadcaster, the error is present even before entering a YouTube URL. It was working at the start of our stream.

Depends on the video type. If it's under the "Topic" channel or was auto uploaded by the record label or Youtube music, it won't work for media request

It's any video. So in OBS, in the Media Request dock, if I click the "+" button the error in the screen shot above appears even before a URL is entered. For viewers, if they type in the "!songrequest <<YouTubeURL>" command, they are shown the same error (an internal server error occurred).

Reset some backend connections. Your settings do show that it is set to Music only so that may be why it's returning this error

but have them try again and see if you still notice this issue.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I have an overlay with just an Alert Box. A few events have videos when triggered. When I emulate them in the overlay editor they play perfectly fine on SE website. However, on SE Live OBS/Twitch the first frame of the video pops up and freezes for the duration of the clip and the sound is there for ~2s. All alerts were previously working fine.

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Hi, I'm having this problem where I can't access my SELive FFZ settings in order to allow 7TV emotes to show up in the chat box, it always opens the FFZ settings in my Chrome instead of in the chat box and then it displays the error seen in the pic. I tried scouring my Twitch, Chrome etc settings for the "allow pop-ups" settings to no avail, googling the error didn't bring up any results either. Is there any known fix to this?

Speaking of media requests, not used mine in a very long time. But decided to enable it tonight and while it played the video/song, it did not want to display it on stream, nor play the audio for some reason. To my knowledge the browser source/widget is set up correctly (worked in the past). Clicking the "stop showing on stream" made it show in OBS and brought back audio, but getting it to show for others was impossible. Did I miss something?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

if it helps, like what is happing as if the text color is wrong. but it's default set to alpha so i thought it would pull the same color.

maybe that will help explain. So people chat names shows. And emotes show but the text doesnt. I thought maybe it the way the overlay was setup and I had to put chat on top or something.

It's due to the color you have selected on the Text settings. Click the Chat overlay Layer > Text Settings > adjust the color next to the font selected.

That is the way the color choice came default in the overlay. It's set to alpha i think. let me look.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Anyone else have issues setting a skip alert hotkey in the Activity Feed dock? I'm able to set a hotkey, but when I click save it clears all fields and never applies the new hotkey. I tried many different hotkeys, running as administrator, restarting, etc. I looked at the log files and it seems it's removing all hotkeybindings after it adds them?

Hello. I am having a problem with my alerts. I purchased a pack from OWN3D. When I import the videos for the alerts into StreamElements, the video image sits off-center in the box (sits above the center). This causes the message of a new follower or subscriber to appear below the image. Is there a way to move the video image down to the center of the box? If I preview the video image in a video player it is centered. Thanks for any help!

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active, as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts allows for faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

There's something's fucky going on with OBS, whether it's .live or the core program I don't know, but it's the only place these issues happen, full stop. Especially since a few others seem to be having similar experiences this week

Only other thought is it's related specifically to twitch's Chicago servers but that feels like it'd be affecting more people than it is

The issue happens on the test too. The problem is not OBS or SE.Live, it's your internet (or home network, but that's unlikely).

It could be related to the ingest server, but you only tested a couple so it's impossible to say.

I have no clue how that's the same since it's stable in every program and load aside from streaming from OBS then. It's the only common denominator both ways

Hours on end I don't get packet loss this way unless I'm streaming using OBS. I've ran long-term tests outside OBS and those tests had no instability. The OBS tester alone did. Within minutes of each other. I'm confused here too, not to mention tired of testing trying to find any other solution or source, but can't. My Ethernet is stable, by ISP has no problems, my router and modem couldn't be healthier. The only thing left in the chain is the connection from here to Twitch itself. I've never had any problems with connection till this showed up, and my ISP shows no interference with any of their services, even when I called to ask if there was one

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

At some point about 3 days ago, my whole computer crashed and I had to restart it and when I open OBS, the activity feed shows up like this

5. In the table to the right there'll be a list of keys - one of them will be StreamElements.readActivities - remove it

When using the songrequest in a browser on some occasions (more than I would like) it also starts to play in the OBS even though it has been muted and closed there and is only used in the browser, it is quite annoying because the sound is duplicate , and in my case I use VOD, and it's no use if the OBS audio is saved in the stream, then I want to use the browser so that the sound is not saved.

Is there any possibility to directly remove the "dock" of songrequest from the OBS? so that it can never be heard from there and can only be controlled from the browser?

You need to update your NVIDIA drivers. You have 2 ways you can do it:

1. Open GeForce Experience if it's installed on your PC. Login, click on DRIVERS, then select Download. Install it fully, then reboot.
   OR
2. Manually download your drivers using this link: https:// www. geforce. com/drivers

Make sure to reboot your PC once the drivers are installed.

When you run Twitch Test with the "TCP Window" set to "OBS" and the "duration" set to "medium" do you get any servers with a quality of at least 90?

You'll probably need different servers selected, I picked ones sort of near me.

Ok so this test app is like... is it just ass? I just streamed for 3 hours, dropped 53% of my frames but otherwise everyone could see and hear me fine I was just straight up cut from 30 to 60fps for the entirety of it but this bandwidth test is saying 0 on literally every single one, including the servers I use to stream

And of course the analyzer says this, which is frustrating knowing full well that my connection ISN'T the issue here, I've checked my hardware, checked every other use case of my internet, every other device, all are stable, called my ISP and they can't see anything wrong either so the ONLY outside factor here is the app. I'm just baffled at this

If you are using the StreamElements StreamDeck plug-in and having issues with Media Request keys or other StreamElements functions not working, this is a known issue. Devs are aware and are working on a resolution. There is no ETA on a fix at this time.

Hey I keep getting this error on the SE live obs chat for trying to use franker facez settings "We tried opening a pop-up window and could not. Make sure to allow pop-ups from Twitch." Hey guys! I am having an issue with the SE Live. Without actually being live, the program seems to be lagging. When I click on the arrow next to an alert in the activity feed to replay it on stream the arrow is visibly lagging when it turns and then the alert played on the source also lags / is going at like 5fps. I noticed when I type in the twitch chat on the program that what I type shows up like 2 seconds later in the text box, anyone know what could be causing this? seems so odd

There is a known issue with the streamdeck plugin for media requests. The devs are aware.

You can use ${random.x-y} to get a random number, but the bot doesn't support math or if/then statements, so you would probably need a custom API to do this. You can check #command-share to see if something exists and ask in #dev-chat if you can't find one.

Uninstalling both SE.Live and OBS and reinstalling worked, imported everything through cloud backup and now no issues. I uploaded my last crash report before uninstalling and reinstalling (it deleted them all after the uninstall unfortunately). I tried file integrity check prior to and all it said was everything was up to date. Thank you for the help

StreamFX has to have particular versions installed to be shown. You might need to update to a different version (I have the alpha version of StreamFX) to be supported

Are there any plans for adding a less intrusive version of the SE.Live featureset? I find I don't like how much of the OBS core functionality is meddled with just to have my bot use my name, to the point that I am debating looking elsewhere and have found various alternatives that largely work how I want them to, but I still really like the SE experience (barring the fact quotes are a pain to sift through and can't be edited)
