hello, im trying to get affiliate on twitch and do not know how to produce an actually decent stream. If i want to use an OBS while streaming from a console, do i need a capture card for it to be decent quality?

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

@compact tree Internet connection seems fine and everything was working great till couple hours ago. When I tried to stream on youtube (used to stream on twitch). Now I keep getting 60% frame drop even if I try to stream on twitch. Tried changing servers with no avail, rebooted PC, router. Still no change. Also if I try the auto wizzard setup it tells me to setup the bitrate to something like 8 and resolution 426x240. So maybe something is messing with the streamelements traffic.

We've mitigated the issue and all alerts except follower alerts should start coming in normally, as there is a backlog of them.

What I mean is, you can integrate a scene in another scene like it was a "normal" element like a text box etc.

This enables you for instance to create a "basic scene" (background, display last follower etc.) and integrate this sscene into your actual scenes, so you dont have to 1. recreate all that stuff 2. if you alter the "basic scene" (e.g. change the background), it's automatically changed for all your actual scenes

In OBS, there is a source that lets you add other scenes into your current scene

I am involved in a twitch storm today. I am required to do a giveaway and I am looking at your options for this in the stream elements dashboard and the two options seem like this will not work. So basically I need to do a giveaway and the users will need to type in ACR to the chat to enter. The giveaway option seems odd and is not clear on how to do this as it reverences tickets. It just seems confusing and I really don't understand it. I just want my users to type ACR in the chat and then I want to pick one winner.
